What an absolute idiot. This just in, YOU SUCK !!!

I feel horrible that this weak ### coach continues to steal paychecks from NFL owners,

:FINGER:

:hot:

A Viking fan bashing Dennis Green? That's rich.

How else was the guy going to react? I'd be pissed too. It was a nice touch smacking the mic though.

Denny Green's players AND HIS COACHING STAFF got beat.

Hell, he's goin' bizerk in his press conference like his players messed up.

That 'prevent offense' didn't help matters.

The first time in the history of the NFL a RB had so many rushes for so few yards.

Then again, they were facing the NFL's best defense and special teams.

"... If you wanna crown them, then crown their ###!"

THe man was ###### because he KNEW he had a gameplan. He found the weaknessess in the Bear's game, and he know how to beat them, and for 50 minutes it was working. Denny Green may take the heat for this loss, but he's not the one fumbling late in the game. He's not the one missing blocks on special teams.

Green had every right to be ###### at his team for letting him down. Should he have lost his cool in the post-game presser? Probably not. But I totally agree with his comment quoted above.

Totally disagree. That prevent offense kept passing and moving the ball even when I thought they shouldn't. The fumble and the special teams beat them, and he should be pissed.

Are you nuts? Nice homer comment. Almost as bad as the Bear fams after the game celebrating like they owned that game. Bear fans shoulda walked out quietly happy that they barely escaped with their unbeaten record in tact.Better teams will watch this game and figure out the Bears - bank on it.

LoL, that's an all timer right there.

So what I gather he's saying is that the Bears are almost as bad as the Cardinals?! ;)

The defense should be crying. Can you imagine containing the Bears all night, holding them to only 3 points. The offense gives up a TD at the end of the 3rd, but you're still able to hold 'em down and you get off the field with 5:53 to go, giving your offense a 13-point lead and the ball to work. The next time you step on the field, the Bears are kneeling down for a win. Brutal to be them after that one.

I think Green had every right to be that pissed off. I don't think the Cards bought into the Bears hype and rightfully so. The Bears are a good team but I definitely wouldn't call them great. The NFC and NFL is still very much wide open.

Hey GA, I know you're all pumped up about winning tonight but really all you did was win against a rookie QB who was tearing you guys apart for 3 quarters and then they self destructed. You all did nothing on offense and Rex Grossman regressed big time tonight...you are going to have a QB controversy when you all struggle with SF and Miami after the bye week. It would be nice if you showed just an ounce of humility in the win...rubbing it in to Cards fans is pretty classless. You all won, terrific, I watched in amazement, you have to win these kind of games along the way, but that offense ws putrid against a very average defense. So just keep it in check a bit guy...congrads, Bears are 6-0...but this is a far cry from the '85 Bears.

I agree and Bears fans better hope that this is an anomaly because that type of offense won't win one game come playoff time.

For the record, I wouldn't be surprised if Denny Green steps down before the end of the season...maybe like as soon as this week. He was a wreck after that game...reminds me of when Ditka lost it his last season in NO, Bobby Ross in Detroit, Mike Sherman in GB...there is precedent for this happening.

If people shouldn't freak out after 5 games, they certiantly shouldn't freak out after one.

He was the one who kept trying to run the ball over and over and over and over despite the fact that Edge was getting shut down more than the D & D Club at my HS trying to find prom dates.
All he had to do was run it and punt everytime with the way his defense was playing versus the Bear's offense. You can make the argument that he should have punted out of bounds, but that's a tough call too. When Leinart did drop back in the 2nd half, he fumbled which led to a defensive TD, and was almost picked numerous times. Running the ball 3 times for 5 yards and punting was a fine plan with the way his defense was OWNING the Bears offense. His players just choked.

Thats a good point and I'm certainly not discrediting what the Bears have done this year. I just think that the media and Bears fans had this team overhyped. They're still a very good team (the best in the league) but by no means great and by no means unbeatable. Just like most years, the leagues is up for grabs.

How many teams that are SB contenders have had their QB committ 6 T/O in a game the same season they are going to the SB? I bet not very often...you have to admit that Rex kind of might have maybe probably sort of has had us fooled... :D He came crashing down to Earth tonight and teams will pick up on how to defend him. The running game has been mostly anemic for the better part of the season...we are 6 games in...teams can drop 4 and 5 back and make Rex beat them right now.

Uhm, not even close.

The Bears will not be winning the SuperBowl this year...the Bears are just as big of losers tonight as the Cards.

I remember my first football game.
Good one. What I said above was correct, sorry. Ross didn't block the DE, Leinart fumbled, Edge fumbled, the special teams players over pursued, and Rackers missed a very make-able FG. If any one of those players didn't screw up in those key situations, they still win and Denny is the man for a week. But, good one.

I actually respect Denny more after this game - and after the tirade -. His game plan was working and they should have won.

With the performance he is getting out of a rook QB I believe Zona will be a fearful team next year.

I hope not he's a good coach. He took the Vikings to the playoffs 7 out of what 9 seasons, he's rebuilt a putrid franchise, give the guy 2 more years, and you'll see a sb contender. The only place they need help is the oline, and if they ever get that squared away they'll be great

You guys are weird. The Bears offense had 3 points and 6 turnovers versus the Cards defense and you want Green to chuck it with 20 point lead.
