It`s really coming down right now(snow)...8:48 am.About 4-6 inches already just looking out my window....driveway completely blocked in from the plows.
Man, that makes me nervous about Hasselbeck.

They had a guy standing outside the stadium on the Today show. He said that there was 3 to 4 inches of snow and that the stadium crew was already clearing the field. Consistent with the weather report posted he said the snow would turn to rain right before the game started. So it looks like they may be able to get the field cleared and then the game will be played in rain. So long as it does not get cold enough to turn to snow.

I am about 40 min south of Foxboro in Mass. Snow has stopped and turned into sleet and expected to turn into freezing rain -- should actually be shoveling before it starts to rain instead of looking up fantasy info! Anyway, weather forecast for Foxboro shows moderate rain in the first half with roughly 20-25 mph wind. In the second half the rain is expected to pick up significantly and winds pick up as well into the 30 mph range. This isn't my forecast, comes from Providence station that reported for the game conditions at the field. Although may be snowing now near Foxboro, the temp is increasing and will turn to rain.

The WIND is going to win me a fantasy championship today!!
I live just north of Pittsburgh and it has rained just about all night and morning. Temperature is supposed to stay in the mid-30's for the rest of the day. Although it is not very windy right now, the wind is supposed to kick up over 20 mph around game time. This should be even worse at Heinz Field since it is on the river and has the open end of the stadium. Given these conditions you might want to reconsider starting any qb's, wr's, te's or k's from either of these teams. Let's also not forget that the "turf" at Heinz Field is suited more for motocross than an NFL game. Bill Murray and the gopher took better care of Bushwood Country Club than the Steelers take care of Heinz Field.

about 7 inches in boston so far and the changeover is just beginnning. tarp is still on the field and they arre currently starting to clear and will begin removing tarp at 1030am (currently 1000am).
I am watching the news live now reporting from foxboro and it is real messy. once the freezing rain and sleet start it should get very interesting. winds are supposed to pick up dramatically through gametime.
i am looking for a lot work for maroney and crew (with minimal to show for it) and a lot in the short passing game (welker and crew).

I just came in from shoveling. It is starting to turn from snow into a snow rain mix and the wind is starting to pickup.
Looks like it will be a mix of rain and freezing rain with a lot of wind come game time. Nasty stuff. I nearly froze snow blowing my driveway with the wind gusts.

Seattle at Carolina - I live three miles from Bank of American Stadium in Charlotte - Overcast skies here, hovering around 38-40 degrees, it rained all night long and has now stopped. It's not very windy here, but it's cold and wet.

Northeast CT- shows rain on the radar (Like Gillette) but it ain't: its just sleet and moving towards Foxboro.

In terms of today's weather, it doesn't look as if this will be a game in which snow will make it difficult to see the lines on the field, as the snow has turned to more of a sleet.

The tarp is still on the field less than two hours before kickoff between the Jets and Patriots. Snow and what The Weather Channel reports could be 35 MPH winds will lessen the Patriots' chances of putting up their usually explosive numbers offensively, and could specifically put a big hit on Tom Brady's fantasy value.

At 11:35 WBZ TV in Boston was live on the field. The tarps were being removed and the field was clean as could be. So the mess being shown outside the stadium will not effect the game, only what comes down between now and gametime which seems to be rain/freezing rain now.

Just great. Need a big game from Galloway today.
I live three miles from the stadium - wind honestly doesn't look like a factor. It looks calm most of the time with periods of brief gusts, but nothing big. It's sunny, not a cloud in the sky here. The ground is beginning to dry up from last night's heavy rains. It's still damp, but sunny.
