It looks like it's gonna be an extremely cold weekend. Do you bench your outdoor starters if the weather is below freezing in lieu of players playing in domes or warmer weather?
I'm actually more concerned with the quaterback & receiver positions. I have Rex Grossman Jake Delhomme as qb's and Mushin Muhammed and Donte Stallworth.
I am considering picking up David Carr @ Oakland or JP Losman @ San Diego. The match ups don't look too good, however, b/c of the weather I think it may be a safer call.
How will the weather this weekend affect your starting line-ups?
GB the icebowl! I wanted to see what the temp was and WOW " With thermometer shuddering at 13 below zero and a wind chill of minus 46 " Man that was a cold game
The weather Seemed not to bother Alexander and Haselback last week at Qwest Field.
I remember watching last years Bears vs Falcons matchup on Dec 18th it was unbelievably freezing cold that day and you could see that it clearly affected Vick. He threw for 122yards and 2 INT's. Rex came in for the first time later in the game since his injury and the weather did not look like it bothered him. He threw an interception later though.
IMO the cold weather doesnt really impact RB that much nor does it good QB's . However in the cold weather coaches i believe focus more on ball control therefore QB & WR's stats drop, Fantasy speaking
