Week 03 2024 who should I start thread **OFFICIALLY UNOFFICIAL** (1 Viewer)

Evans or Hill? Home against Surtain vs. Away game with new quarterback? Any opinion would be much appreciated.
Evans against Denver and hill against Seattle?

I’d probably go Hill because of the explosive nature of his game. There are plenty of risks for Evans this week including the DB play and Baker going other places but Baker also loves to sling it and Evans could definitely beat Surtain for a long touchdown if Baker throws a 50-50 ball. Hill isn’t that type or player.

Overall, now that I think about it, go with Evans due to red zone opportunities?

Half PPR, must win as I’m 0-2 and it’s toss up h2H. Need a RB2, WR3, and flex.

Pick 1 RB

White vs CAR
Najee vs LAC
Warren vs LAC

Pick 1 WR

Dell vs MIN
Higgins vs WAS
QJ vs PIT

Right now, I lean White due to matchup. I lean Dell and Higgins (flex option) due to their potential to pop and their matchups. I like QJ too but the matchup is rough and Herbert is hobbled.
I get it with White but the Raiders run game is the worst in the league ATM. Lots of rumblings in the Raiders thread about how the new blocking scheme doesn't fit Zamir.

But Pitt lost their rookie LT this week so, maybe Zamir is your best bet.

For WR I roll the dice with Higgins. The matchup is too good.

Najee is next man up IMO. He's the lead guy in Pitt. Over Dell & QJ, who I need to see do it again, particularly with Easton Stick as likely QB.

Zamir>Najee>Jaylen>Tank>QJ

Am I over thinking this? full ppr need a flex..I don’t know if I can trust London yet?

London (KC May score a lot and falcons need to play catch up?
Shakir (top option in BUF, jags have a good run D so Allen May need to throw more?)
Jennings (no kittle or deebo, rams are soft)

Thanks in advance.

Standard scoring PPR

QB - Purdy/Goff
RB (x2) - Zamir White/Cam Akers/ Jerome Ford/D'onta Foreman
Flex (x1) - Jauan Jennings or one of the above RB's not selected to start

Also, caveat...I offered Akers to the guy who has Charbonet (he has Mixon and I have KWIII on the bench). If that trade is accepted, would Charbonent start and if so, paired w/ who and how would that change Flex recommenation?

I think those are three great flex options in PPR.

I kinda love Jennings this week but it's hard to be confident in that.

I think Shakir has 2-3 big games in him this year, maybe more, and I think he has a solid floor too. The problem is the Bills can pull ahead in a hurry, wear teams down and lean on the run game.

You're not overthinking, you just have great options.

ATM I lean

Jennings>Shakir>London

But that could easily change.

Until Njoku gets healthy, I’ve got some nasty TE start dilemmas. TE premium.

Colby Parkinson
Brenton Strange
Jonnu Smith
Taysom Hill

Started Rhamondre on Thursday, so I’m already in a bit of a hole. I know Parkinson is probably the play here - but I’ve got this “strange” feeling that Brenton could be the higher upside play this week.

Evan Engram out; Strange did earn himself 6 targets last week. He’s got more YAC ability than Parkinson for sure.

Speaking of YAC, maybe Jonnu is the okay here after all?

I know there’s no easy answer here, just looking for some thoughts.

Thanks
Going with Strange with confidence due to the existing infrastructure and he performed on short notice. Plus he’s young and has untapped upside
Samsies bro … let’s get some STRANGE tomorrow!!

Purdy>Akers>Jennings>Ford

Very close on all the options though.

Currently have Shaheed in over Tank Dell.

I grabbed Akers, but an considering dropping him for Leggette, Whittington, Jennings, or an LAC WR... Thoughts on that?

There's a lot going on there but I would definitely keep Shaheed in over Yank and I would keep Akres at least for this week.

Jennings is the only other one who seems interesting if you're very concerned about Akers

PPR, starting Lamb G Wilson and Godwin at WR. Need a 4th WR as a flex.

Higgins vs WAS
Shaheed vs PHI
I still have difficulty trusting Shaheed but I don't know we can trust Higgins either.

My impulse is Cincinnati rolls Washington and I'm not sure what happens in New Orleans so...

Higgins>Shaheed

YMMV

0.5 PPR

At TE:

Pitts Vs KC

or

Jake Ferguson vs. Baltimore

I want to quit Pitts but not sure were there yet

After losing both Pacheco and AJB this week, I'm having to start a less than stellar option in the flex. 1 PPR. Who you like from this group:

Losivas vs Was
M.Wilson vs Det
Mooney vs KC

I'm leaning Losivas as Was has 32nd ranked def vs WRs. Talk me off the ledge.
Now that we know Highins is playing, Mooney is my call for now.

One player I didn't add is I could also play Zamir White .5 ppr for RBs. I really am not sure he turns it around but vs the Panthers Def is very enticing.

Would anyone go with Zamir over Mooney in the flex?

Injuries killing me....

Flex position : .5 ppr , 6 pts. TD, .1 point per yard for RB/WR
1 ppr , 6 pts. TD, .1 point per yard for TE

PICK 2 (leaning Swift and Warren now I think):

Swift vs. Indy
Warren vs Chargers
Likely vs. Dallas
Downs vs. Chicago

Agree pretty easily.

12 team, 1 PPR

WR3 spot - Higgins vs WAS or London vs KC

Higgins with the better matchup, but don't know if he's going to play 5 or 50 snaps.

Given that it's 12 teams I'll assume rosters are more thin than deep which makes me think you could use the consistency of London. You are right that Higgins is just really high risk. He could have 1 catch for 5 yards pretty easily as he is eased back in

London will get you points
