On FOX's post-game show Glazer just reported that Everett was taken in to emergency surgery. I really hope he's okay.

I heard on the post-game show that Caddy is out for next week but not what his specific injury was.

How sure did they sound that they already knew he was out for next weeks game? I'm really interested in Caddy's situation since he's my RB2 and looked like a decent sleeper coming into this year if ONLY he could stay healthy! Go figure he only lasted 2 and half quarters. I wish I could have heard that post-game show for more details. I'm really worried as Dunn is only my only other back along with Morency which is even worse. Any more details on Caddy would be really appreciated!

Guy in my league had Cadillac and Jacobs. This is the same guy that loses tons of players every year due to injury. Drafted Alexander last year, drafted Faulk the year he started to suck. His 1st round pick this yr was Jackson.

Are you saying we should trade Jackson before he gets hurt?

Everett is out of surgery and in the ICU. 12-24 hour waiting period "before doctors can determine his condition."
Bills TE Everett undergoes spine surgery Bills TE Kevin Everett will undergo emergency surgery Sunday night for a cervical spine injury.Tough news to swallow. The Bills will probably update Everett's condition on Monday morning after the surgery is complete. The Associated Press reports that Everett showed no signs of movement since leaving the stadium Sunday. Sep. 9 - 7:38 pm et
Hope for the best....I always feel bad when things like this happen.

After the game, Manning wasn't even using his right arm to shake hands with guys...he was noticeably gesturing with his left hand to give congratulatory taps and all.

Doesn't look great.

Bears Safety Mike Brown...

Initially being reported as a "Sprained Knee", but judging from his reaction and words during a post-game interview, its likely much worse..

Local NBC5 had an interview with him

He said, "Its a sprained Knee RIGHT NOW" , but uh.. like I said, it doesn't look too good.. It's a shame.Hurts my feelings..Really Bad.... <Insert Tears>

They were talking about it like it's for the season/Career...

From Yahoo:

Buffalo Bills:

Free safety Ko Simpson is out indefinitely after breaking his left ankle.

Cornerback Jason Webster is out indefinitely after breaking his forearm in the fourth quarter.

Linebacker Coy Wire, filling in for injured starter Keith Ellison, sprained his knee in the first quarter.

Tight End Kevin Everett: "He's had some sparse movement," Everett's agent Brian Overstreet told The Associated Press in a phone interview late Sunday.

"The next couple of days is going to be critical," said Overstreet, responding to a question about paralysis. "Our concern is for him to come out of this healthy and, hopefully, be able to walk again."

Overstreet said Everett came out of a "lengthy surgery" Sunday evening and the plan was for his mother, Patricia Dugas, to arrive from Texas on Monday.

Anyone know about anymore news on Caddy? Will he play next week?
They are still uncertain about next weeks availability,it's bruised ribs..........Caddy;bruised ribs

SEATTLE - Cadillac Williams' healthy start lasted barely more than one half of one game. And there's no telling when he'll feel good again.

Williams has bruised ribs.

For a running back, there's not much worse.

"He took a shot right on his ribs," receiver Michael Clayton said. "It's very, very, extremely painful. Lac is a warrior. He's not coming out of the game unless something is really wrong."

Williams, 25, left with 10 minutes remaining in the third quarter after taking a shot in the rib cage from the side by hard-hitting Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu.

Williams was on the ground for several minutes before being helped up by the training staff and walking off. On the sideline, he continued to wince in pain and soon went to the locker room. He did not return to the field and was not seen after the game.

"You don't like to lose a Carnell Williams," coach Jon Gruden said. "He started the season hurt last year, and it appears he's got some rib injury to start this season. When you have sore ribs and you're a running back and you're playing pro football, that's not a good deal."

Williams, the No. 5 overall pick in 2005, had trouble with back spasms to start 2006. He missed two games each of the past two seasons with foot injuries.

Williams had 60 yards on 12 carries and two receptions for 14 yards. On the Bucs' opening possession, he fumbled after a reception.

Michael Pittman and Earnest Graham split time in his absence, with mixed results. Pittman caught five passes for 32 yards but had a 2-yard average on three carries. Graham carried four times for 11 yards, but fumbled at the end of his only reception.

The fumble, forced by Tatupu, came at Seattle's 12-yard line with the Bucs trailing 20-6 late in the fourth quarter.

"In the NFL, when you turn the ball over and make mistakes, you lose," Graham said. "When Lac goes down, somebody has to step up to make sure we don't lose a step."

Williams' status for Sunday's home opener against the Saints is uncertain.

"I've had ribs, not to the extent of what he's having, but it's tough," Graham said. "It's hard to breathe. Cadillac's a tough guy, but if he can't go, then Pitt and I will be out there."

From Rotoworld:

Early indications are that Brandon Jacobs sprained his MCL Sunday night, an injury that should keep him out roughly three weeks.

It's almost safe to get off the ledge. He will undergo an MRI Monday to make sure, but the Newark Star-Ledger says preliminary tests indicate the worst case scenario was avoided. Derrick Ward is expected to start in Jacobs' place in the mean time.

Rotoworld:

Sep 9 Boston didn't play Sunday after injuring his foot in pregame warmups, the Associated Press reports.

Williams has bruised ribs.
LT missed a couple of games in 2004 or 2005 with bruised ribs and wasn't the same down the stretch after a game in Oakland. Not good news for Caddy owners.

Any update on Chester Taylor?
Hi Lawrence,From our Injury Recap Feature:
RB Chester Taylor - MIN - Taylor injured his hip early during the game vs. Atlanta and did not return to action - he was examined by trainers and stayed in uniform. In Taylors' absence rookie Adrian Peterson was fantastic. An MRI on Monday morning revealed Taylor has a “contusion of his oblique.” “He’s a pretty tough guy so he’ll treat that thing,” coach Brad Childress said. “There is nothing structurally wrong and it’s just extremely uncomfortable right now. We’ll get that settled down and see where he comes by Wednesday.”
