I am trying to decide on my LB and Dbs for week 1.

Scoring

Tackle=1

Assist=.5

Sack=2

Int=4

FF=1

FR=2

Safety=2

Td=6

My projected starters in Bold- Start 2 DL, LB and DB

DL- My Dline starters are no brainers

Suggs

Abraham

Wimbley (He is listed as a DE in our league so he will score higher as a LB)

LB- I cant decide who to start as 2nd LB

Vilma

Pierce

Ryans

T. Davis

DB- Same probelm as DB

R. Williams

S. Taylor

I would think that at linebacker Pierce would be the safe bet, but Ryans is tempting. Maybe give him a week or two to see if the sleeper hype pans out (I've got him, too, so I'm hoping!) and start Pierce for now?On db, that's really tough. I would probably start the SS (Rhodes), but remember this is supposed to be fun, so you could leave yourself a player to watch on Monday Night Football and take Taylor!

FWIW, I like to start proven players early unless I'm firmly convinced someone unproven is a better play. That means I take Pierce over Ryans, although Ryans could be the highest point producer on your roster this weekend. Also, I start Rhodes over Taylor. He a much better bet to rack up tackles than Taylor. Neither have particularly good matchups.
