JSN - playing great lately but again possible bad weather
Hunt - great matchup but looking slower

Sorry, can start 3 off these 4. One has to sit, not sure if it makes a difference but with Allen on bye I'm starting Murray. Could have the Murray MHJ stack

I probably bench Marv.

If youre a heavy dog, I could maybe see stacking going for the lottery play. Otherwise, I think I'd sit him.

Tempting to say Lamb, but who else is Dallas gonna target?

PPR league. Need a dart throw for flex.

* Will Dissly vs BALT -- Great matchup. Herbert throwing more. Getting 6+ targets the last few games.

* K. Bourne (or Boutte) @MIA -- Maye could be playing catchup. Bourne starting to come around.

* N. Westbrook-Ikine @HOU -- Crazy streak getting TDs and that's about it.

* A. Estimate @ LV -- Great matchup. We were rug pulled last week. He could get some run in a blowout.

* J. Palmer vs BALT -- McKonkey is banged up but expected to play. Still, game could be a shootout and BALT secondary stinks.

Which one?

Thanks
Tough calls so I think I would play the matchup and go with Dissly probably over Palmer because of a more stable target floor.

PPR League.

Benson vs SEA
Justice Hill vs LAC
Estime vs LV

It's a dynasty league, I'm not making the playoffs, and I'd have to drop Jordan Mason to get Hill or Estime. Thanks!
Isn't Hill in the concussion protocol?

I think, regardless of that I probably go with Benson because he at least gets used a little each week. Estime (ie Payton) can't be trusted.

But, if I needed the upside play I would go with Estime because he could see zero touches or 20 touches.

.5 PPR pick 1 RB and 1 TE ..

Tracy or Hunt
Schoonmaker, Noah Gray, or Theo Johnson

Thanks in advance!
Probably Hunt. You have to figure he's going to get at least a few opportunities from the GL.

For part 2... I guess Gray and hope they roll and he gets some opps.

Leave one of these four out (full PPR)....

Kelce @ CAR
Kittle @ GB
R White @ NYG
Sutton @ LVR
Probably Kittle with Allen at QB, no?
You're probably right. Kittle has been so good, though, and I can't help but wonder if Allen at QB hurts or helps Kittle. More importantly, the goose egg Sutton had a few weeks ago keeps lingering in the back of my mind. Feels like Sutton may have the lowest floor of the bunch, but I could be wrong.

As always, go with your gut.

But look at Sutton's last four games before you do.

Flex ppr (thank you bye weeks)
Abdullah V Den
Christian Watson V SF
Alec Pierce V Det
Do we know Marttison & Zamir are out? If so, Abdullah. If not I probably lean Watson.
Both are doubtful. Problem is they play the late game
And you don't have other options?

BTW Zamir may actually be behind Abdullah in the rotation. Hard to tell but...maybe.
Everyone's on bye. Higgins, Garret, even Shakir.

Wondering if the Purdy news should reset my Lineup Currently I have

Jajuan Jennings vs GB

My options are :
Tank Dell vs Tenn
Jameson Williams vs Indy.

would you make a change based on Allen being SF's starting QB this week?
I might pivot to Dell.

Then again I only remember the times when I made a late lineup change and it failed so...
That is 100 % me. I’d rather stick with the wrong guy than switch and have the original go off but that’s not really rational I mean switching has to be the right call sometime right?!?
As I said, I only remember the ones that failed. It's the way the human brain is wired. I am certain I have had it go right plenty, I just never remember it.

49ers record without LT Trent Williams:
  • 2020 0-1
  • 2021 0-2
  • 2022 2-1
  • 2023 1-2
  • 2024 ???
3-6 since he came over from Washington.

I'm starting Jennings, but my alternatives were the hyphenated guy in TEN who keeps scoring TDs or Noah Brown.

One more person playing Crappy Bye-Week Fill-In RB Roulette. 14-team, non-PPR. Here are my options:

Abdullah v Den
Estime @ LV
Akers @ Chi
Laube v Den
Wright v NE

Currently have Estime but leaning towards AA. Both backfields are somewhat ambiguous, but Ameer would seem to have a better path to touches. Meanwhile, Estime has a much better matchup, so conceivably a better chance of falling into the end zone

If it were PPR this would be an easier choice.
Estime and hope he gets the carries this week.

Half-point PPR its desperation RB2 day.

Ameer Abdullah

Or

Roschon Johnson
Abdullah is a tough call this week in the late window.

It's a situation where I would probably play each guy depending on my perceived need. If you think you need a stable floor guy who may get you a TD but only on 10 or so touches, play Roschon.

If you worry that you may need a guy to get a bunch of opportunities and pray he breaks a few big ones but has a very low floor then Abdullah is your guy.

I probably risk it with Roschon and hope last week was a trend and not a blip.

Thanks. I was thinking along the same lines as you in many senses. So appreciate the reinforcement. I’m a slight underdog this week due to byes… but I don’t think this RB2 position is gonna win me the week. So seeking a stable floor of sorts.

I'd go with the 10-year vet getting his rare opportunity but trust yourself over an internet rando.

  • Goff at IND or Love v SF

  • Dissly v BAL or LaPorta at IND
Big dog this week with Cook & London on a bye. Leveled up a bit with my Warren outscoring his Najee Thursday.

The villain is 2nd in PF and doesn't have anyone on a bye. I could clinch a playoff spot with a win.

Probably Hunt sits.

wrt weather - 40s and 6 mph wind is not a concern. wet balls are NBD if they keep their gloves dry.
  • MHJ - like this matchup a lot for him, Seahawks have given up the 6th most FF Pts to WRs over the last 5 weeks
  • Lamb - practiced in full Friday, no designation, Rush is no Dak but he's competent
  • JSN - after the last couple games I don't know how you sit him RoS
  • Hunt - last call....had produced every week until the Bills game. IDK he might have a good game but Chiefs should win easily so who knows

Coming back for seconds- well you know Thanksgiving week

WR worries:

Non ppr standard scoring. Pick 2 of 3:

DJ Moore vs Vikings
Jennings @ GB
Johnston vs BALT

Thankful for this thread. Best of luck today

.5 PPR
I’m favored by 10

Start 2
Jameson Williams at Indy
DJ Moore vs Minnesota
Tyrone Tracy vs Tampa

Thanks
I'm going with Tracy here and not really thinking twice about it. It's a good matchup, he's at home + he was already playing at a high level with poor quarterback play behind him.

Personally, I think we all know that Williams is all about the big play. He's great in many lineup formats but I don't really know the basis of yours. If you can handle the potential zero then absolutely start him.

However, I still look at DJ, as a solid floor high ceiling kind of guy. He's got a great matchup at home and there is reason for optimism after the offense didn't entirely **** the bed last week. That isn't the highest endorsement in the world, but still at the very least I think he's going to get peppered with 7 to 10 targets.

I go with DJ.

Change to a super flex league and start both of them, that's what I'm doing.

I think they are both good options. Detroit is an offensive juggernaut so capturing any piece of that offense is a smart move. Goff showed last week that his upside is as high as anyone's, but it takes a lot to hit that ceiling. There is also concern they control the game so much that Goff has another 18 attempt day. Still he's a good start most weeks.

The thing I like about Love is he is the Packers offense. Jacobs is a fine RB but that offense runs through Love. The problem is, we haven't seen his big time ability in almost a month and he has been incredibly reckless with the ball. His downside is pretty big. I love the matchup because I believe the Packers would love to knock the Niners out of the playoff hunt and I wonder if they pour it on a little bit, if they get a lead.

Still, I think Goff is probably the smart choice here simply because Love has been so uneven. But if you're absolutely looking for that home run I may lean Love.

I'm going with Dissly this week because of the matchup and the fact Herbert is looking like an MVP QB. LaPorta is a fine player but he could see zero targets as the...fifth(?) option in a potentially low volume passing offense, while I think Dissly is in line for around six as the third option with the Chargers.

My worry is that he’s a 10 year veteran that hasn’t done very much in that decade.

full ppr. Start Downs or Rhamondre in the flex.
It's hard to bench any RB that has seen 83 touches over the last four games. I really like Downs but, IMO volume is king.

Now, if you're looking for the home run play then it's Downs in my book. But Rhamondre has decent upside as well so I still probably stick with him.

I need to pick any two of the following in a 0.5 PPR:

RB Hunt at CAR
RB Conner at SEA
RB Jacobs vs SF

WR Kupp vs PHI
I'm shocked I am even thinking this but Phili has been a nightmare for opposing WRs so I probably bench Kupp. That could easily be a mistake because I have more faith in McVay's ability to scheme than probably any other coach in the NFL (I think this is a trap game for the Eagles) but, still the numbers say to bench Kupp.

I definitely start Hunt under the assumption he should see a few goal line opportunities in a game I expect KC to control start to finish.

Between Conner & Jacobs its a coin flip. I think I lean Jacobs because he has really been heating up over his last four games with 114+ yards & four TDs per game. But, if you're not feeling that then Conner is a fine option.

I have been riding QJ for four weeks now and loving it. He has a great matchup at home and his QB is playing like an MVP. Still he has the thinnest resume of the bunch and, despite eight targets last week it's hard to predict his potential volume.

Of your options I almost certainly start DJ. Good matchup, the offense looked competent last week (disclaimer about past return and all that here), it's a great matchup and his target share seems locked in.

Jennings with Allen at QB is the question. Personally I expect a heavy, heavy dose of McCaffrey and have no idea how the WR room will parse out. Jennings has been elite but Deebo, Kittle & CMC are great targets in the passing game as well and, maybe Allen can't hit Jennings on the deeper routes or the mid range crossers that Purdy anticipates so well.

Tough call but I bench Jennings.
