Yeah, his schedule so far can't be understated. I am a Hogan owner and we had the SB on in the background during our draft and you can see the upside with Hogan. Seeing his utilization and his upside in that game I thought we would have seen more, and am tempted to move him. He certainly looks good when he is utilized, but that is the biggest question of how many targets will he reasonably get going forward.In fairness, that was the Hell schedule (Houston and Jacksonville), his outlook the next few was going to be the breakout but thanks to Garbage time, he got big points vs. the Jags. If you told me I could sell Hogan for a Matt Brieda or Gio Bernard, I'd do it. Look at some of these Yahoo! deals for Hogan; not everyone is savvy.
I for one am not overly confident that Gordon plays a significant role, so I am not overly concerned about it. I will believe it when I see it.

Just to echo what Chaka has been pounding the table on... buy lows are actually hard. You hear the chatter so does everyone else. Few people in FF are low information these days. It's obviously harder to pluck someone that owners are down on, hear opposite chatter on which is different than how you feel about the player, and then deal for them. Now who that is right now, I don't know. It's just that things don't go as they seem they will and that's what you want to identify.

Bloom said it best on the most recent "Couch" episode. Its more about buying high on guys where the market still hasn't caught up with how high they can go or selling low on on guys where the floor is over estimated.
Now is the time to sell low on D. Johnson. People still think he is a high end RB2, but there is a good chance he is barely a flex play this year.

I offered Dion Lewis to an 0-2 team (who has Kamara and a bunch of JAGs) for Ingram. Hoping he bites but highly doubt it...
Gordon really kills any value Dorsett had. But, I am certainly concerned as a Hogan owner what his future in Week#5 and beyond is. Edelman's return scares me just as much as Gordon. Realistically, if Gordon does stick then Hogan is 5th in line for targets. Behind, Gronk,Edelman,Gordon and White. The Pats throw to their Rb's a lot and I dont think that is going to change. It seems Hogan is on the field a lot but is primarily a blocker/decoy on most plays.
All that being said, Hogan should have a good week vs Detroit minus Slay. Perhaps hold him a week and then sell? Or is this the last chance you can get anything for him?
LeSean McCoy finished RB #7 in 0.5 PPR last year with the high-powered Bills.
DJ staying healthy is the key...his stats won't be epic by any means but will regress back up just fine over the course of the season.

I'm not going to say your wrong because I don't know what the right answer is, but if I were a DJ owner I would hope I could sell him some one like you for a solid RB2.

I highly doubt Gordon produces immediately. Part of the value of Hogan and Dorsett results from having played in the system. For another thing, he offers a completely different skill set.

Im talking week 5 and beyond. Gordon's arrival is bad news for Dorsett but Edelman's return is bad news for Hogan IMO. Hogan has actually been playing the slot quite a bit every since Edelman has been out but that role will be taken away from him. I am not saying Hogan will completely disappear but I don't think he is anything more that a WR4 starting in week 5.

Yes. I would trade any of those for DJ.
One caveat is that I would need to have someone on my bench that I drafted late or picked up on WW that I could plug in for the next 2-3 weeks for while DJ and AZ work themselves out of their funk. Like Gio Bernard or Tevin Coleman.
The thing DJ has not lost is talent and bell cow status and therefore represents upside none of these others can match.

A guy really wanted a TE upgrade and I decided to bail out on Trey Burton and his cratering aDOT. Standard League, dealt Burton and Kenny Stills for Matt Brieda and Jack Doyle. Should I have tried to get more for Burton a.k.a did I sell low? Trubisky just started scaring me with his scattershot throws and unwillingness to throw to him on deeper routes. Even AR15 worked less deep routes, and that too many guys running in the same area now. To me Doyle isn't terrible and he's an every down player, the TDs will come for him.

Noticed Landry was banged up. Owner 0-2 and it’s a short bench and Landry plays tomorrow. He countered an offer I sent and now offered Funchess/Lockett for Landry. It’s PPR and small return yards. I posted it in the AC forum. If accepted could pick up Clement or Aaron Jones.

Funchess did well when Olsen was hurt last year, but Lockett loses a lot of value when Baldwin returns. If you clear up a roster spot for one of those RBs, that's fair imo. Landry should benefit from Gordon being gone and Haley also has a history of high end WR1 production. Broncos defense .. who cares.
#2 is awful. I don't see DJ doing much in that putrid AZ offense. Ajayi has a great opportunity to outscore him this year.
#1 he would need to throw in another piece. Fuller's splits with Watson are WR1ish.

Yea, I'm doing fine in that league. 2-0 and now have a killer lineup for the playoffs. Conner could be worthless in as little as two weeks.

As a M.Gordon owner there’s no way I’d take Fuller & OBJ for him.
i was so relieved when the 1.10 team took OBJ, leaving me Gordon.
But then, I thought Eli is in serious decline & thought OBJ was vastly overdrafted as a 1st rounder this year.
So yeah - I guess if soneone’s high on Beckham it’s on ok deal.
You'd have to pry Gordon from my cold dead fingers a this point.

I agree that NYG OL is a disaster and I don't see Eli as a Top 15 QB this year with that offense. The guy offering Gordon still has Zeke, Mixon, Lindsay & Penny/Carson but his top WR's are GB A Geronimo & LAC R Woods so he is in dire need of WR upgrade. He is a die hard Giants fan! I have Gordon, CMC, Mixon, Conner, Crowell, Barber, and Ekeler and have been thinking about moving one of them. No one wants Crowell or Barber, who I would prefer trading along with a WR for an upgrade. I have had some interest in Conner, but am not sure how to value him.

I thought I might try something here - what are opinions on Amari Cooper? Is he a buy or sell? This seems like a perpetual debate but last week was a hell of a performance in case anyone didn't notice.
I see Cooper and I think there's an owner who will be spinning his wheel this year. But then actually he's the only primary receiver they have, except maybe Cook if his role continues. And Gruden said he would get AC the ball and lo and behold he did, 10 targets, 10 catches. And the division and schedule seem not too challenging (the Rams are behind him in the NFCW).
So I think some will be looking to sell, some will be looking to buy, or is this the same old game? I just think this week is a window. This Sunday is a nice matchup and he either falls and confirms what people learned from last year or he rises and his price is way up.

I personally have never owned Cooper because the price was always too high for a midling WR2. I get that he is supposed to be a WR1 but he really hasn't ever been for FF purposes. I don't disagree with your analysis or that the arrow is pointing up potentially but I wouldn't take a chance on him unless he was going to be my WR3 and I could get him for something that doesn't hurt my lineup.
My guess is that the Cooper owner has drunk the cool-aid and they are in for the long haul.

He’s a buy for sure - but it’s tricky.
rock bottom price was after week 1.
After week 2, a couple things could happen:
1. Owner wants to sell-high
2. Owner thinks “finally I can recoup on my investment!” - especially if they got burned last year but reinvested.
3. Buyer doesn’t trust AC enough to buy-high. Offers low-to-medium value - likely rejected (see #1)
Tricky spot to buy on Cooper. Best bet is probably to wait & see if he lays an egg in Miami (possible since Raiders have never really travelled to Miami well) - but then you’ll likely cool on buying.
value-wise AC is all over the map right now.

I would not even try to buy him unless it's super low. In my 1 league, I own DJ Moore & Kupp as the last WRs on my bench. I would rather keep them.

I had OAK WR A Cooper as 1 of my Keepers.... (with OBJ & Kamara). I was targeting B Cook and they offered Cook & D Walker (after injury) plus a mid-round pick for AC & K Rudolph. I did not trust AC as a consistent producer so I accepted. I am happy with Brandon Cook as my WR2 but have to settle for Hooper to replace Rudolph.SaintsInDome2006 said:

I’m trying to sell high on James White to guys in my league looking for RB depth. Just the general vagueness of NE RBs plus it really looked to me like they wanted Michel to handle the load running AND CATCHING from the backfield last week, but gameflow made White the best option in the second half.
It doesnt' really matter. This is a 2/3/1/2 ... that's two flex, in PPR. I can start nothing in RB and dominate all year with stud QB/WRs.
Done it a million times. Starting 5 stud WR in thsi format is unstoppable.

Didn't think about it but Mayfield taking over in Cleveland will have positive benefits for Hyde, Landry, Njoku. That was a short window and it's closed now.

Traded ADP for Mixon from a team desperate for an RB short-term (he has Bell, Ingram, and McCoy). Win for me, I think. Long story to say that you might be able to pry Mixon from someone because he’s injured. From what I’ve read, I’m pretty confident that he’ll be back soon...

I would consider selling high on Crowell. I worry that the league has already figured out Darnold and Enunwa and the supporting cast still doesn't appear that strong. Plus Crow is in a full blown timeshare so he is dependent on big plays and TDs (which may be sparse on this team).
I am a big fan of Crowell, not sure why the Browns preferred Hyde to be honest, but IMO he may have peaked in 2018.

I can't get anything for Crowell. Word is out about being touchdown-dependent. He went for 102 the first game, but one of those was a sixty yarder that he broke. Otherwise, he's even averaging under 3 a carry.

True. I put them (he and Powell) on the block waiting for a nibble, so I have nothing concrete to speak of about what I'd take for him/them.
Part of me also thinks rostering the entire backfield is an advantage, but they're a true timeshare right now and taking up a valuable roster spot in a shorter bench, standard league (we shaved from sixteen teams to twelve and kept the same benches, for some reason). I may just hold and wait until one wears down or gets dinged up, which could very well happen at some point.
Another issue is that Powell is running a little better than Crowell right now and they're both seeing stacked boxes, from what I can tell. Cleveland was able to basically dare Darnold to beat them, and the coaching staff of the Jets refused to loosen the leash even a little. It was bad. SSND, I think, said they might break the record that game for horizontal yards in the air, which kind of cracked me up.
In addition to all of that, our league is also not that active a league in terms of trades. The people in the league that were really active got a bit frustrated and left, leaving the inactive owners. So...there's also that to factor in.
But I agree with you, Crowell is a sell high even though he's averaging 14.267 standard.
