Week 13 Game Thread - Tennessee Titans at Detroit Lions (1 Viewer)

Just disgraceful that they didn't go for it there.

This is not a professional football team by any definition.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Godfather is currently showing on AMC HD.

Though when Sonny gets shot 1,270 times in the toll booth, it's really the same as watching Culpepper dodge the pass rush.
Watching Joe Pesci explain the painting of the dogs is like watching the Lions offensive scheme.
I think you mixed up your gangster movies.
wat
He thinks you mixed up your gangster movies.
I don't get it.
Sonny got shot in The Godfather, Pesci explains the painting in Goodfellas.

I think it's a sad thing that this Lions team might actually go winless. They're a very bad team, but they're not close to being as bad as that Tampa Bay team. I even think there's probably some 1-15 or 2-14 teams from the last five years that are worse than this team (but don't ask me to defend this statement, because I don't spend a lot of time looking at really bad teams.)

But for years if this happens, people will talk about the 2008 Detroit Lions as one of the worst teams of all time. And I think that's an injustice.

Put down the turkey leg and step away from the table....slowly. No! Leave the wine, you've had enough of it.

Any chance that Marinelli gets fired this week. I mean the team is just horriable. Hell I think Ball State would give these guys a run for the money.

Not watching the game. Just saw Culpepper's stats online so far. 9/20/1/1. Is he really playing that poorly or is the receivers not making plays? What do the Lions do at QB next year?

You don't think this team, at home, would have a reasonable shot against last year's Dolphins? I do.

Culpepper is playing bad and the line isn't giving him any time. They have no chance right now.

Last year's Dolphins were not that bad, especially compared to the 2008 Lions. They lost six games by 3 points or less.

Sure, because you still have that any given Sunday thing going. But last years Dolphins were near misses in many of their games. This years Lions have what, one competitive game this year? So, yes, I honestly think this years Lions do indeed rank among the "worst teams ever". Last years Dolphins were an anomaly.

This Lions' defense is as bad as the '06 Raiders' offense. :lmao:

Just when you think it's getting (a tiny bit) better for the Lions.

Playng against the Tenn DST in one of my more important leagues too :(

note to self, next year draft the 3 defenses, 3 starting RBs, and 3 starting WRs that play the Lions during weeks 14, 15, and 16.
