At least it wasn't him head-butting the stadium wall this time....CBS reporting a concussion.News: Gus Frerotte had to leave Week 13 vs. Buffalo after suffering a concussion while being sacked in the end zone for a safety. He did not return.Benched for bad play.G. Frerotte????
LinkLaVar Arrington left the game in the second quarter with a quadriceps injury. He was listed as questionable and did not return until midway through the third quarter.
In addition to Arrington, the team announced Portis suffered a bruised shin, and defensive backs Ryan Clark and Ade Jimoh had sprained ankles. . . .
He isn't on the inactive list.Anyone hear anything on Jurevicous' illness. Is he going to start play? Anyone hear anything?
I think you meant the next series, not next week.Westbrook came out for a little while. Came back in for a play but was out again the next week
And he was in there on first and third down...he was NOT out that series. He's playing.I think you meant the next series, not next week.Westbrook came out for a little while. Came back in for a play but was out again the next week
Westy got hurt in first quarter. Came back in and looked fine. I don't think he even played a down in the second half, so it is odd to see him going off now.Maybe, Reid decided to yank him and not risk further injury, and his ankle is hurting or stiffening, and he is going in for treatment.westy gone to locker room. any idea to severity?
My thoughts exactly. It's tough to be a fantasy player with him (two leagues I'm in have him as a key player tonight) but we're talking an NFL franchise here. I think Westbrook is fine but there is no reason to take chances down 42-0. By the way...GO SEAHAWKS!Westy got hurt in first quarter. Came back in and looked fine. Any updates would be appreciated.
He's done for the yearhttp://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2250259Here is an update on Westbrook. How long would a sprained foot keep him out?
PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Pro Bowl running back Brian Westbrook was knocked out of Philadelphia's game against Seattle on Monday night with a sprained foot.
The team didn't immediately say which foot Westbrook hurt.
Westbrook did not return for the second half, finishing with 17 yards on nine carries, and five catches for 38 yards in the first half. He came into the game with a team-leading 600 yards rushing and three touchdowns, and had 56 catches for 578 yards and four touchdowns.
The reigning NFC champion Eagles were already without four players who went to the Pro Bowl last season: quarterback Donovan McNabb, wide receiver Terrell Owens, cornerback Lito Sheppard and left tackle Tra Thomas.
Rams linebacker Dexter Coakley will undergo surgery on his broken leg in the next couple of days. Coakley also suffered a dislocated ankle in the first quarter of the team's 24-9 loss to the Washington Redskins on Sunday."He's going to have to get a plate put in his leg and then, after three months, it comes out," Vitt said. "It has to be done fairly quickly, sooner rather than later."dislocated ankleAny word on Coakley?
