Week 13 Patriots RB Thread (1 Viewer)

I suspect what we saw against the Dolphins may be what to expect the rest of the way. Pats reverting to 2007 form with a pass heavy offensive scheme. Morris to get the most carries (but not a ton and not a lot more than anyone else). Faulk to get some carries and a bunch of receptions. BJGE to get garbage time touches. In other news Lamont Jordan is a candidate to go on IR, but even if he doesn't I don't see him being in the mix unless he gets a lot healthier (and even then he'd only see table scraps). Given that they are facing the Steelers, fantasy wise I probably wuold look elsewhere but I would guess Faulk would do the best out of this group this week.

Agreed on all points. The Pats found their offense in the second half against the Jets and I expect them to ride it out for the remainder of the year.

The guy I see having a big week is Welker as Pittsburgh will be bringing the heat and I see a lot of dumpoffs to Welker (and probably Faulk).

Should Moss be bench ?
I'm sitting him. This looks like a major Faulk game to me. Maybe Morris gets a short TD run but I don't see him getting much yardage against this defense.David, Morris left late against Miami with a leg injury. Since you didn't mention it I'm assuming it was nothing serious?

IIRC, Morris took a drive off and then came back. He was in the second to last pats drive. The last drive was all BJGE (literally no one else even touched the ball). I'll check around, but I don't think he was hurt all that much.

I think Faulk makes for a good PPR start this week. Nonppr? Hopefully you have better options.

Just when you thought he was a total afterthought . . . Lamont Jordan practiced (limited) today. Still don't think he will see much action or make an impact though.

I benched Moss the last two weeks and lost each game as a direct result. Yes, even as (relatively) quiet as he was in the Jets game, it still cost me. Lessons Learned: I'll never bench Moss again regardless of the matchup.
