O.K Here we goooooo:
FFPC scoring:
Need ONE flex play:
D.Swift @ SF
D.Mooney @ MINN
M.V.Scantling @ NYG
I really wouldn't wanna chase MVS, I feel like the second we start to feel good about him at all, he has a 1-5 kind of week.
Assuming he's playing, I'd go with Swift. SF isn't the matchup to avoid that they once were.
One of my own.
Crunch time in my Home League.
Jayden Daniels on bye.
Superflex QB choice between Kirk Cousins and Bryce Young. Yikes.
Cousins has been great for me at times.
Young was obviously terrible but I love the last bit.
Young would be fun as I just picked him up. Cousins fun for a MIN game.
I like what Young has shown of late, but at Philly is terrifying. I like Cousins matchup more and think he could have a silence the critics type of game. Of course, if he doesn't, he could be benched for Michael Penix, but I doubt that would happen without a week to prepare Penix as the starter.
Standard Scoring ... NO PPR
Pick 1 WR - have Hill in as it sounds like Metcalf is playing
Tyreek Hill vs NYJ
JSN @ AZ
Pick 1 TE - Mahomes is my QB so like the double dip with Kelce, but McBride has been on fire
Kelce vs LAC
McBride vs Seattle
Thanks!
I see no reason to bench Tyreek, he hasn't been his all-pro self, but he's been solid since Tua came back.
Feels weird to say, but I'm not sure a matchup exists right now where I'd start Kelce over McBride. McBride had 12-133 against this defense 2 weeks ago.
K.Murray vs Sea
Goff vs GB
Caleb @ S-F
I like Murray. I think he will play better indoors against Seattle. Also trust his rushijng the most.
Old school redraft with no PPR (just TD's and yards). Henry on a bye, so I need to start two of the following....
N Harris vs CLE
Warren vs CLE
Swift @ SF
Edwards @ KC
Vidal @ KC
Thinking of playing it safe and just starting both PIT backs, with the way that offense is firing on all cylinders. With no PPR, it just feels like I need to cover my bases and ensure that I start the one that is going to score in that game (which could be either one). Would probably pick one of the two and go with Swift if I liked his matchup more. And the LAC backs don't do much for me at this point. Am I overthinking or playing it too safe by considering the "safe" play here?
Edit: The other way of looking at this is that TD's matter more with no PPR. Swift has as many TD's this year (5) as Harris (4) and Warren (1) combined. So, I suppose the obvious answer might be just start Harris and Swift.
Swift and Harris as long as Swift is playing, if Swift is out, I'd start both Steelers.
Full PPR
Devonta Smith vs CAR
MHJ vs SEA
B Allen @ MIA (Breece Hall DNP today and is iffy with some injury)
Pacheco vs LAC (will he get more touches this game over Hunt, and also LAC is a tough run D)
I'd start Harrison over Smith in his 1st game back from a hammy injury.
Unless Hall is inactive, I'd go Pacheco.
Stafford v buffalo
Goff v GB
I'd go with Goff. Better matchup, and better track record this season.
Carr at Giants or Purdy vs CHI?
I'd go with Purdy. Better weapons, and I think its possible as much crap as we (rightly) give Eberflus, his presence could be missed for the Bears D.
Standard ....Darnold vs Atlanta, Tua vs Jets, Russ vs Cleveland. Quite the conundrum & I seem to start the wrong one every week.
I'd go Darnold. There is nobody more due for a big game in my opinion, than Justin Jefferson. This could be a rare game where Miami plays with the lead limiting Tua's attempts a bit.
Would anyone start Jayden Reed at Detroit with Doubs officially out over:
1) Mike Evans now v LVR now apparently nursing a "minor" calf injury
or
2) CeeDee v CIN nursing a legit shoulder injury and is Questionable Monday. I don't have an option if he is a late scratch.
Not that it matters but if I play Reed it would mean I have Goff, Jahmyr, Montgomery & Love all going tomorrow night.
I'm more worried about Evans status than Lamb's. My gut says sit Reed, as long as you have a reasonable option if Evans is out. Reed could have a big game tonight but could also just see his normal 5 targets.
PPR:
Monty vs GB
or
James Cook vs LAR?
I'd start Cook. Better matchup, and he's been a better player overall this season.
PPR need 3 out of
Nabers vs Giants
Hill vs Jets
Reed at Lions
JSN at Cardinals
I'd sit Reed. Yes, he has upside, but he has the lowest floor of the group.
.5 PPR
Kupp vs. Bills
or...
Jennings vs. Chi
or....
Ladd vs. KC
Was leaning McConkey, but him being banged up and playing late is making that a less attractive option.
My gut sez Jennings, wut sez we?
Personally, I don't ever sit Kupp. Given the byes, I think he's a top-8 WR this week.
Need 1 for flex in non-PPR please. Xavier Worthy v LAC, Tucker Kraft @ DET, Cade Otton v LVR.
I wish we knew more about Evans. If I knew he was out, I'd say Otton, but since we don't I think I'd take a shot on Kraft. I think he's got good TD odds.
Goff V Tua?
I think w/ the Lions DEF so decimated, the offense will need to win it
NYJ (haven't watched) but have I guess a stingy pass DEF although MIA at home
Rolled w/ Goff last week and Tua put up the better fantasy stats.
Can't seem to pick right this year...
Also, Njoku vs Freirmuth PPR
Thank You
Very close call at QB, but I lean ever so slightly to Goff. Just feels like a higher scoring game.
I think Njoku>Freiermuth is the every week call since Winston took over.
