Week 15 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

As usual, I decided to bench that stud, Cedric Benson. Instead, I went with those bums, Forte and Bush.

Wayne has flat out lost it. LT is washed up. Thankfully I have both on my team and am facing Andre Johnson.

 
Must-win game if I want to make the playoffs. At flex I can put in VJax or Antonio Bryant, both of whom blew up on my bench last week. Guess which one I chose. :wall:

And Lee Evans...I just never learn, do I?

Westbrook kneeling at the 1 last year cost me my playoff, and Jeff Fisher passing on a no brainer FG try to put them ahead with 2 minutes left causes me to lose this year..... I hate Fantasy fball:-)

 
ADP IS OVERRATED.

Not that it's his fault. The coaching and split time with Taylor should seriously demote him in cheatsheets. It never seems to, it's like a guarantee that he'll never have a big game as Childress is a mental-bumpkin.

Peterson is not overrated in ability. He's every good as people think he is. However, in Minnesota's system, he should never be ranked higher than 5th in the cheatsheets. He is often benched in the red zone. He is ALWAYS removed after any run of 20. The latter move I've never understood. Plenty of RBs can handle another play after a long run.

That's exactly what I said.He's incredible but as long as there's CT/Childress ball and chains around his ankle he's not going to be as good as he could be.

To all my guys on all my teams, burn in hell.

I don't know how I started Warner in one league and played against him in two and still came out on the short end of the stick all around.

I also lost games with the following guys starting on one of four squads:

-Pierre Thomas

-Andre Johnson

-Marshawn Lynch

-Dom Rhodes

Antonio Bryant burned me twice.

I feel sick and I want to move to a soccer watching country.

I have to agree with this statement. I'm just not sure I can leave the one league I'm in. I'm a Vikings fan but I get upset with Taylor scores instead of Peterson. I'd rather just enjoy the Vikings winning rather than hoping they win only if Peterson scores. I'd rather hate the team as a whole rather than one specific player.

I will post the second highest score of the week this week...unfortunately, I played the highest scoring team. His team had Andre Johnson, Pierre Thomas, and Dominic Rhodes. While I still have an outside chance to win, I am down ten with only the Philly defense left to play and he has Romo. Barring Romo getting knocked out of the game I am pretty much toast. Drawing the worst playoff matchup will end up costing me about $200. Special thanks to Chris Johnson.

Oh...and I also benched Calvin this week for Devin Hester. That worked out well.

 
In a league I dominated all year, my opponent blows up against me despite me having a good week. 4 TDs out of Cassel, 36 points out of Dallas Clark, but the back breaker was JP Losman turning the ball over 3 times in the final 2 minutes of the game, trying to run out the clock (facing the Jets D). Also doesn't help Jeff Fisher has a brain fart and doesn't try the winning FG (I had Bironas). The kicker is the commish has the semifinal matchups wrong and I had to open my big mouth and mention it, and of course I'm beating the guy he has me playing.

 
Maybe it's bad form complaining when your guy has a decent day but I'm just about ready to walk to Charlotte and brain John Fox with a tire iron for sitting Deangelo Williams for almost the entire second half AFTER the guy busts a 60 yarder for a score. Huh? What's that all about? "Hey that guy is heating up ... bench him immediately"

Given that I lost my Super Bowl a year ago when Gruden inexplicably rested Ernest Graham in a game that had playoff positioning implications this was eerily reminiscent.

I'm not done yet but I've got some work to do in the GIANTS-COWBOYS.

 
Moore, Mason and CJ3 just didn't put up the numbers this week. Not that I expect a whole lot out of Mason and Moore each week but come on... Was hoping for a huge week from CJ3 which didn't happen, glad to have him as a keeper though. My opponent started Pierre Thomas only because his other RB's were hurt then he goes off. Finished first during the regular season only to lose to the wildcard team. The only hope I have now is if Romo fumbles like 2 times and throws 3 INT's. Fantasy football has to be one of the most frustrating things but I'll be looking forward to next season just like the rest of you.

 
SJax and Megatron - thumbs up today.

Wayne - OK.

Warner, Cooley, INDY DT, Carpenter, Marshall, Ronnie Brown - thumbs way down.

I was 12-1 in the regular season and lost my playoff game. OK. so they guy I was playing had Peyton, DeAngelo, Peterson, Steve Smith. I just hate losing to these guys that NEVER make roster moves during the regular season.

 
The FBG rankings for ppr are on the right. I also picked up Wahington, because FBG's had them as like the number 2 D this week :thumbup: Unbelievable, now I need like 40 + points out of Westbrook. Nothing worse than getting beaten by a team with Pierre Thomas this week when you have Reggie Bush. :lmao:

Worst score of the year in two of my leagues this week.

If LenDale wasn't "active", I would have started Cedric Benson, and would have won.

 
Rant is for FBG being out of access for nearly the entire day (9AM - 11:15PM). Wait, that's the entire day as far as football's concerned. Week 1, I could tolerate. Week 15 - inexcusable.

You should probably have a good handle on running your team by week 15. Maybe just e-mail your MFL login/password to Dodds next year.

I lose by 1 point Fitz gets other team that 1 point. Also if Wade Phillips has Folk kick xp point I win. Instead, I go home, to make matters even worse, I don't wake up till 12:21 ( Ilive CST.) I wanted MJD in my lineup, instead of Chris Johnson. 3 strikes I'm out.

Not a vent here, but just so you know, DeWill was "woozy" after a certain hit in the 1st half and that's why he wasn't in there.As for me, looking at at least 2 losses and a possible 3rd. Common factor in all 3----Andre Johnson. Thanks, Tennessee defense.
 
Quarterfinals in my dynasty league and I'm the #1 seeded and highest scoring team in the league.

In this non-PPR TE mandatory league, I started Andre Johnson, Megatron, TGonzalez, Michael Turner, & MJD (guessed right and benched Chris Johnson), and somehow I still lost! :shrug:

I feel like throwing up. Within 12 hours of kickoff I decided to bench Turner for Chris Johnson and Calvin for Roddy White. To make it worse, I was on a plane about to take off about an hour before kickoff. I called up the commish and asked him to swap Roddy and Calvin back for me but changed my mind yet again since I had been hearing about the injury status issue all week. I suck. Either one of those moves puts me in the championship game. Now I am in the 3rd place game unless McNabb scores 1 point or less.

 
It didn't cost me my game, but why didn't TEN run more against the Texans? Every time CJ3 touched the ball in the second half he ran for over 10 yards. Did the offensive coordinator have brain lock? I just don't get it. I hope the Titans have to go to Pittsburgh for a playoff game just for making my match-up more of a nail biter than it should have been. :bag:

 
12-0 ... turned to 12-1 .... turned to potential 2nd round lose..

Warner , Boldin and CJ3 killed me....

but the big kicker was starting Roddy White over Randy Moss.... made the change 10 minutes before kickoff.

I'm 21 but he still has McNabb... which I need to choke....

In 13 weeks McBabb scored over 21 6 times ..under 6 times and 21 exactly once...it's basically a coin flip. (but he has not played the Browns yet..UGH)

 
I lost my bigger money league this week only needing Ward to outscore TO by 4 points. I would be guaranteed money rather than playing for third. In the end I need 5 more yards from Derrick Ward. How they did not check down I will never understand. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for it, but they needed to go down field. At any rate, I have come to grips with it, at least I am playing for a championship in my other league.

 
How the hell I lost with this lineup in a 12 team PPR league is beyond me:

QB - Cutler

RB - Slaton, Bush, CJ3

WR - Marshall, White

TE - Daniels

K - Rackers

DEF - Dolphins

Scored my lowest total of the year. Not a single TD by any of my RB/WR/TE's. My team was so sick all season, to end with this score is ridiculous.

Last week I scored 172 points. This week? Less than half.....84 points. WTF!!!!!

Total point leader by almost 200 pts and I'm ousted by the 4 seed in the playoffs.

 
Thanks Anquan and Housh - you avg 21 and 14 a week respectively You put up an 8 and a 4. thanks. Game is out of reach.

Freaking Dunn managed to put up a 16 .....

ON AND F YOU Buffalo - nice garbage TD you gave the JETS
