Week 15 Waiver Wire Thread (1 Viewer)

Looked and didn't see it. I'll start it off. Anyone worth picking up that might be able to help in the semi-finals and Championship round?

QB - Foles (if desperate)

RB - DuJuan Harris

RB - Joique Bell

RB - LaMichael James

WR - Jason Avant?

TE - Bennett (if still avail)

TE - Clay Harbor

DEF - Detroit (vs. ARI)

DEF - Miami (home vs. JAX)

DEF - TEN (home vs. NYJ)

Anything I'm missing?

In my 10 team league we have the following FA's:

Wilson

Boldin

Nicks(owner has Julio Jones, A.Johnson and Marshall so he droppe Nicks)

Britt

Gordon

Pitta

David Wilson if he's available. Depending on the Bradshaw MRI results, he might just be the home run you could be looking for on the waiver wire. Even if Bradshaw is healthy enough to go, you've gotta think Wilson has earned more work and could be a roll of the dice flex option for week 15.

Exactly.
im adding another D/ST for this specific reason.
Yup. At this point, I really don't see anyone having in the playoffs trusting the waiver wire fodder out there at the moment. Right now, it's all about prevention, and that's why I have a bid for Lions DST (although I might consider using them as well, my main goal is so my opponent doesn't use them).

Kris Durham? Starting WR for Stafford, who has lost Broyles, Young, and now Pettigrew as targets?

LaMichael James has to be considered now, I think, in deep leagues like mine. Dujuan Harris, especially with a matchup vs Tennessee in week 16.

Good mentions so far, I'd also consider Tony Scheffler who hasn't been mentioned.

Exactly.
Opponent has RG3 and Alex Smith (for some reason). Am dropping 2 mid grade receivers (Moore, Hartline) to pick up Weedon and Bradford, the only two possibly viably playable QBs on the bench (unless you consider Sanchez, Skelton, Flynn and Kolb viably playable in some bizzaro deep start 3-QB league). Not a classy move, but not against rules and if that's how I want to burn my waivers, so be it.

Is Clay Harbor worth an upside gamble instead of guys like Allen, Clark, Rudolph, etc?

Had a hell of a game, and is likely going to beneficial to Foles as a sump off check down. He's been a game-breaker before with limited looks, and reading his game reports, he seems to catch all his targets...when he's targeted.

With Celek out, does Harbor warrant a desperation start? Hard to tell what this guy's floor or ceiling may be, but my gut is telling me he's the kind of player who can make all the difference in putting a team over the top in these next few critical games if he continues in his present trajectory.

LaMichael James interests me for Week 17 vs. the lowly Cards @ home.

JMO He's going to have a big say in the playoffs for the Niners. Limited game tape on him and he's fresh. Very good in space.

What happened to The Audible's weekly WW threads?? Why quit when its the most important time of the year?!
I was thinking the same thing, even though the podcasts are free, that is the only reason I pay for footballguys now, just feel like I need to pay something.

Good me toons so far, I'd also consider Tony Scheffler who hasn't been mentioned.
I'm picking up Scheffler where I can and playing him this week over Kyle Rudolph. The Seahawks TEs had a pretty decent day against the Cardinals defense, don't see any reason Scheffler won't do the same.

I'll mention this because his name hasn't come up nor is he a flashy guy but Ben Watson has amassed 25 targets the past month (196 yards, 2 TDs) for a Browns passing attack now clicking on all cylinders and the Redskins cough up the most points to TEs in pretty much all scoring formats.

Want some numbers? Here are some numbers:

Week 1 - Graham (6 catches for 85 yards and a TD on 10 targets)

Week 3 - Gresham (5 catches for 64 yards and a TD on 7 targets)

Week 5 - Gonzalez (13 catches for 123 yards and a TD on 14 targets)

Week 6 - Rudolph (6 catches for 56 yards, a TD and a 2-point convert on 11 targets)

Week 7 - Bennett (5 catches for 79 yards on 7 targets)

Week 8 - Miller (4 catches for 46 yards and a TD on 6 targets)

Week 12 - Witten (9 catches for 74 yards on 15 targets)

Week 13 - Bennett (5 catches for 82 yards and a TD on 7 targets)

Week 14 - Pitta (5 catches for 46 yards and a TD on 6 targets)

The only teams NOT to gash Washington with their TE:

- St. Louis Rams (Kendricks is bad)

- Tampa Bay Buccaneers (before they started incorporating Clark in the passing attack)

- Carolina Panthers (Olsen still got 48 yards; certainly didn't kill you)

- Philadelphia Eagles (Foles first start as a pro on the road)

Just saying.
