Week 15 who should I start thread **OFFICIAL** (1 Viewer)

Who do I start at QB? Standard QB scoring

Newton

Bridgewater

Huntley

i have survived this year on a QB rotation of Darnold, Bridgewater, Tyrod Taylor,  and Newton

i picked up Huntley this morning to give myself another option. Not sure if I should go with Newton and hope for the best or wait until 4:00 and go with Huntley if he is starting.

This is a 16 team IDP dynasty so QB doesn’t have as big an impact as some other leagues.

Full PPR

Freiermuth vs Ten or should I pick up Njoku Vs LVR (I think Waller has no chance of playing even though the game moved)

Right now I have Chase Edmonds Vs Det at flex over Marquise Brown Vs GB and Chase Claypool Vs Ten.
I considered Njoku, and would have been happy to play him if that game was Saturday.  Being that it's Mon/Tue, you can't predict if Hooper is coming back.  I'd go Freiermuth.

I almost never do these crazy last minute adjustments, but is it feasible to start St Brown in .5 ppr over DJ Moore as underdog? Pittmans trash game has me thinking I need some upside surprises
FBG rankings have St. Brown 27, D.J. Moore 29 in half PPR.

Huntley, with confidence (not in him, but against the other 2 options).

No, but facing Buffalo D in he cold weather with an injury that I watched him sustain - he looked pretty gimpy out there.

And his QBs are brutal.

Imma go with my gut here. If it gets me bounced, it is what it is.
Dang it, now I’m second guessing whether to start Gallup over Gabe. Not like Dallas is gonna have to throw a ton either.

sigh. I hate this.

Guillotine ppr playoffs. Playing for most points in last 3 weeks against 3 other top tier teams. Need to score around 150 plus so going for ceiling.

Rb kamara vs tb
rb ?
wr kupp
wr Jefferson
flex lamb vs nyg
flex ?

need to pick two:

mixon vs broncos which is a tough matchup and he didn’t score a td last game and averaging 3.2 ypg last two games… leaning towards sitting him but worried I’m being cute.

Conner vs Detroit - without injury I would have rolled with Conner no brainer. With injury not sure how much volume he gets with Edmonds back… still thinking him over mixon at this point due to probability of td.

Robinson vs Houston - I think he has most upside. If I can rely on new head coach saying he’s the guy and they feed him volume I don’t see how he doesn’t have a huge game against team that allowed penny a huge day.
Mixon for sure. I have commented on him enough.  He's one of the few workhorse backs in the league.  Roll with him, good or bad.

I have been cooler on the Jags than most after the coaching change and higher on Conner than many despite the injury.

In this situation however I think I am leaning with Robinson because I think Conner is going to be more TD dependent than usual with his injury and the return of Edmonds.  We can't know until we see it but Robinson may actually be in line for workhorse volume and because it is such a poor opponent and they are playing at home (and I think the Jags will get a mental bump from the firing of Meyer) that he may not need high volume to produce big.

Mixon>Robinson>Conner

I think he's the most at risk to get only 2-3 points.  I could see that game getting out of hand, and not in a good way where you can even back into some garbage time points.
His worst game of the season was 4-24-0 in week 10  that is 5 points in my league.

Choose 2 of these 5. Lots of question marks I know... PPR scoring

Devonta Freeman vs GB

Myles Gaskin vs NYJ

Marquis Brown vs GB

Darrel Henderson Jr vs SEA

Rashaad Penny vs STL

Non-ppr.

Amon Ra St. Brown

or

M. Gallup

?

Classic 3rd/4th option on a good offense vs. 1st/2nd option on a terrible offense.
I think Gallup has a better chance to find the end zone than Ra. And Gallup has been getting plenty of volume too.

Gallup>Amon-Ra

Thanks, jabarony. I'm about even because Mahomes dropped forty on my team on Thursday, and the projections now have me about even, or a little ahead. So...still not sure.

Would you sit Najee for one of those two?
I can see the argument for sitting Najee but, IMO, not for Robinson this week.

James Conner or Zeke in the flex full ppr.
I'd go Conner.

Zeke since the bye has gone 10, 11, 19, 10, 14, 6, 8.5. That's trending badly.

Conner is hurt. So is Zeke, really.

Conner has gone 14, 38, 14, 19, 18, 29

Half PPR. Depends how hurt you think Conner is and how much Edmonds eats into his stuff.

The Sunday morning Audible is avoiding Zeke.

Got to choose between Miami's D at home vs NYJ and Dallas at NYG. In this league, D's can be week winners. Very high scoring. I also have the Raiders if Cleveland's OL and QB don't return.
I definitely see the dilemma.  It's a good problem to have.  Can you start two defenses?

By comparison they are neck & neck across virtually every metric except points allowed.  The Dolphins have given up only 55 since week 9 (5 games) and the Cowboys 125 (6 games).  The Dolphins didn't have a great game against the Jets in week 11 though.

I don't see a way to parse the two so it's a coin toss ultimately. My gut says

Dal>Mia because I think the Giants may have quit a little bit and maybe Z.Wilson is improving a little bit (with Carter back too) and Gelnnon will always be Glennon.  But it's very, very close so go with your gut.

SO WHICH 2-3 OF THOSE 6 WOULD YOU PLAY?

Thanks
You said Chaka. I was leaving it for him.

My opinion?

Williams, Foreman, Penny, Wilson, Elliott, Sanders.

They all have warts.

I have not kept abreast of the Miles Sanders injury.

Elliott looks like a shell of himself.

Depends on Penny's usage for he and Wilson, who hasn't looked impressive.

Struggling at flex

OBJ vs Sea

Green vs Det

Moore vs Buf

0.5 ppr.
I am high on OBJ against a terrible pass D this week.  For me that is enough to distinguish between them

Moore would be next for me because he has gotten volume all season, and should get the most of the three this week, and has performed very well despite his circumstances. But he is banged up and faces a tougher matchup, maybe game script favors him but I hate trying to predict that.

OBJ>Moore>>Green

Pick one in PPR

McLaurin/Julio/Beasley
Do I have to?

Uhhhhh...Beasley?

The QB situation has me scared of McLaurin and he isn't being used like we all expected him to be all season. Julio is no longer Julio so you have to hope for a brief resurgence which likely would not be a portent of things to come.  Julio also has a tough road matchup and plays for a team that wants to grind at all costs.

Beasley is #2 in targets for the Bills (7.3 targets/game) & Sanders is out. Game script may not favor them but that is such a difficult beast to predict that I put very little weight behind it.

Beasley>McLaurin/Julio

Dang it, now I’m second guessing whether to start Gallup over Gabe. Not like Dallas is gonna have to throw a ton either.

sigh. I hate this.
I would start Davis because he should see more targets and they like him in the red zone but it is really close.

Need to choose one ,   M Brown, Bateman or G Davis?    SF,  PPR,  I am favored by a bit in the semi finals, but...

Brown seems best with Jackson at qb

Bateman seems best with Huntley at qb

Davis is a decent pivot off of any more Baltimore players

Except I need to play either Jackson or Huntley in my 2 nd qb spot

You confirmed my decision. :hifive:

I don't think it is a bad idea to pivot off Baltimore WRs. I would probably go with Davis.

@rockaction

Which 2 LB would you start? 2pts solo, 1 pt asst, 3 pts FF/FR

CJ Mosely vs Dolphins

Alex Singleton vs Washington

Anthony Walker vs Raiders

Mosley and Singleton. Mosley sees one hundred percent of the snaps and the defense sees the field for an awful lot of snaps. Went Singleton due to recent snap count and -- I know this is a fallacy -- tackling efficiency.

Bad reasoning on Singleton, but I think he sees more snaps than Walker does.

QB - Tua or Burrow (I have Lamar but not chancing that).  Starting Mixon and Gesicki.

Also - AJ Green or Hollywood Brown.  .5 PPR.  Also have lockett but not sure he will play.

PPR

In Lineup:

J. Robinson vs Houston

Tee Higgins @ Denver

Aiyuk vs Atlanta

Two flex spots, pick two:

OBJ  vs Seattle (Tuesday, lots of Rams missing)

Michael Carter @ Miami

D'Onta Foreman @ Pittsburgh

Jeff Wislon vs Atlanta

Jeudy vs Cin

Feeling a little stumped about my flex spots. Can make a case for anyone but Jeudy, other than him having a nice 7 point ppr floor. No explosive games.
Interesting calls. We're in the lightning round now (past 9:30am Pacific) so I can't do deep dives.

I like OBJ against that defense and I think Wilson is going to get the most opportunities against a bad defense.  I could definitely see going with Carter over Wilson if that is what your gut is telling you. Can't trust Jeudy and Foreman is not very good and gets inconsistent usage for a lead back.

OBJ>Wilson/Carter>Foreman>Jeudy

Hey, man!

I have no idea, just wanted to say hello.

Jets are run funnel, Denver has a tough secondary. FBG has Tua 9th and Burrow 16th. Best of luck!

FantasyPros has Tua 12th and Burrow 13th.

The denver D is pretty good but I expect Burrow to throw if they want to win.

Tua has the easier match up, but I don't expect the TDs from Tua, as opposed to those that Burrow will need to win

Full PPR

Freiermuth vs Ten or should I pick up Njoku Vs LVR (I think Waller has no chance of playing even though the game moved)

Right now I have Chase Edmonds Vs Det at flex over Marquise Brown Vs GB and Chase Claypool Vs Ten.
I like Freirmuth because he has been so great in the red zone.  Njoku is a better athlete but that Browns/Raiders game is very tough to call with all the Vid running around.

I am okay with Edmonds over those two in PPR.

Freirmuth>Njoku

League 1 PPR: Albert Wilson, Chubba or Robby Anderson?

League 2 Standard: Fournette or Mixon?

Chaka's previous post has me going with JRob over Conner. Thank you

Thanks, that’s currently who I have in but saw Walker will play and it gave me pause.

Half PPR league.  2 Rb's, 2 WR and a Flex.  Need 5 of Robinson, Zeke, Sony, Wilson, Adams, Cooks and Parker.  I'm thinking Robinson, Zeke, Adams, Cooks and Parker.  Getting stuck on Sony, especially with the Tue game.

Good luck everyone!
Five?  And no full names? Great.  Okay speed round.

RB: Robinson>Wilson>Zeke>Sony

WR: Adams>Parker>Cooks (assuming it's davante adams

Cooks as the Flex
