Week 16 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

Last week started Clayton and he got 1 damn catch. This week I bench him for DJ Hackett and he has 5 catches for 87 and a TD already.

 
RON DAYNE!

The guy I'm going against in the Super Bowl picked him up this week with not many other options at RB left on his squad. He was before me in waivers so I couldn't block the move.

What kills me is no other knucklehead in our league picked him up before him with that great matchup! (8 man league)

 
Ugh. I am in the league Championship game in both of my leagues this week...

Some of my opponents' players:

Ron Dayne

Mark Clayton

Marvin Harrison

Peyton Manning

Maurice Jones-Drew

...and it's only 2 PM!!!

 
Well its not even halftime yet and Ron Dayne has already outscored LJ...Holt,Wayne, and Vick have combined for 1 point.

Starting Pittman and Santana Moss over Dayne. Why? Why? WHY? I had Dayne in there all week. Going to cost me a playoff game, I can guarantee it already. :confused:
 
Bulger is going nuts, yet Holt only has 1 catch

SSmith held without a catch cuz Carolina doesnt have to pass

KW2 held without a catch

A great start for my team

 
Picked up Mike Bell ( since i have tatum ) instead of Dayne :wall:

NOT ME..... that's for sure...I've had Holt about 4 straight years... he owes me nothing but I need him today....Playing against..BulgerLTWEstbrookOwensBurressR. BrownCooleyI'm staying close but he's got all his big guns later / tomorrow...i needed big numbers from holt...

Thank god rosters are locked and I only have one TE on mine, Ben Watson, to help carry the load.I was highest scoring team in the league by 300 points and will not even finish 3rd ($585). 4th gets zero dollars. After last week i swore to never play again...I know that wont last, but right now, at this very second, I dont see the point of making myself miserable on the weekends during football season.
 
Dayne is killing me. Could have picked hm up and started him instead he is keeping Peyton off the field, whom I did start :rolleyes:

Same here. Its almost funny at this point. Last week in leage A, MB3 and TO got me 39 points. I felt real confident going into Sunday, only to watch LJ/AJohnson/Brees #### the bed.Last night, in league B, I get 39 points from KC's D and LJ. Again, I feel real confident. Holt, Wayne, and Vick are now killing my chances of winning any money. Its a complete disaster.

had my finger on the button to switch cutler in for vick at 12:59...succombed ot the "start the guys who brought you" BS theory...stupid me...vick is a heartless, gutkess, me-first little punk.

From what I can tell it has little to do with Vick and everything to do with:- Jim Mora being a horrible coach- Atlanta's defense taking the day off (time of possession: CAR 34:49 ATL 13:41).

should have followed my gut and known these are two gutless teams playing for nothing...while den/cincy have playoff shots, hence, START CUTLER YOU IDIOT!! (and no, falcons weren't seriously thinking playoffs...they've quit, and so has CAR)
 
Played FWP and left Reggie Bush sitting on my bench. I also stared Steve Smith and have Colston sitting on my bench. Hopefully it will not come back to haunt me.

 
lost my semi's game by 6 points when bulger and seatle d had dud games. could have had bulger, sjax, and lj for the finals game against lt but settle for destroying the guy in the third place game.

oh well

 
Holt owner. He is definitley no longer a stud WR.

Burress owner. 1 catch the whole game, thank goodness it was a long td. 1 target the rest of the game . Are you kidding me??

 
Sure, now Kitna has a three TD game, and hooks up with Roy Williams to boot! Too little too late by a week! GRRRR

Ok, my big ones for the day...probably should have left McAllister in my Flex position. Put in Cutler, so it still might pan out. Santana Moss is my other big complaint...but it does not surprise me. Oh how could I forget Shockey!!!

My opponent had Betts today. I am way behind, but hoping to make a comeback with Tomlinson!!!! :X

My opponent takes a 0 from FWP, a 0 from Jenkins, and 7 pts from Big Ben and as long as TO gets 7 points tomorrow night, he wins :banned:

Thank you Ladell Betts for that last fumble.....that play likely will be the difference here.

 
Own T Jones, Benson, Addai, and Dunn. I figure with the injuries and such that Benson would get 20+ carries and Addai would see single digits, so I start Benson and Dunn (not expecting much from Dunn, but 'tis the season) - couldn't be angrier with how it all shook out. ADRIAN PETERSON?! I want to throw up...on Lovie Smith and Tony Dungy.

Oh yea, I forgot the icing on the cake. I traded TO to this guy at the conclusion of the draft for Ronnie Brown. So I hate the Cowboys and I get to have the biggest ##### of them all put the nail in the coffin for me :yes:
 
Having to decide between Vick and Bulger each week has been torture this year.

I picked Bulger last week and Vick this week.

Ultimately this cost me the league championship.
