regarding flex scheduling procedure, NFL.com states:
(as opposed to the normal 12 days notice required for weeks 11-16)The present Sunday night game is the Chiefs at Jets and I can't imaging the NFL sticking with this matchup for its showcase game in week 17. The Patriots play the Giants on Saturday, Dec. 29 so that game is not eligible to be moved to Sunday night. I have tickets to the Lions at Packers and am hoping that game will stay as scheduled - which will likely be the case in the event the Packers have clinched the 2nd playoff seed and the Lions are eliminated. I could see Titans at Indy, Jags at Houston, or Pitt at Baltimore getting moved.Given those considerations, which game is likely to be flexed and how likely is the Packers-Lions game to be the one?In Week 17, in order to ensure a Sunday night game with playoff implications, the decision to move the start time may be made on six days notice.
