I never know who are one-week wonders, so I'll just put the ones I noticed:

Justin Gage - TEN

Brandon Jackson - GB (OK, OK, I erased my dumb comment)

A Bradshaw - NYG

Don't know how many of these guys are available to you, but thought I would get the ball rolling.....

Brandon Jackson - GB (both Grant and Jackson had a good day - considering him, but Grant's hammy didn't seem to bother him today (although I didn't see the game) - homers?

A Bradshaw - NYG

I hate to act like the board police, and I might agree with you theoretically, but we all play in different leagues with different rules and different scoring yet someone on one of these threads has to make a post similar to this every week. It's pointless, doesn't further the discussion and just muddies the waters.

Deeper pick: WR Allison, MIN if Rice is out for any extended time. Obviously as an end of the bench guy like Rice.

lamont jordan?
MAroney just got back in the game, not sure what that merans though.
Jordan looked much more explosive. To the point where they said "showing some explosiveness that the Patriots might not have known he had." Jordan was impressive.

Jordan was good last year before his back acted up - 424 rushing yards in the first 4 games. Unfortunately, the back problem is probably destined to revisit.

10 team 14 man roster leagues. I always wind up in one or two a year it seems. So, could be legit for somebody.

I'd want anybody who posts that to be in my league. I WANT YOU IN!!

Do you WATCH football?Anybody from the Vikes sans AP and the kicker is a NO NO.
I would agree with this. I think it was the second half before TJax had more than 7 yards passing all of which to ADP. I snagged Rice as my 5th WR and was giddy. Now I'm actually hoping he's injured so I can IR him and snag a player discussed here...

This isn't really about a guy who has looked good(or looked anything), but about a guy who could be in a position to produce in the near future because another guys ISN'T looking good:

I've been toying with this thought since mid-week, and even given the coachspeak coming from Brad Childress about Jackson being "in no danger of losing his starting gig, no matter what, bank it, book it, no tag backs" after the Colts loss......is it time to throw a couple bucks at Gus, just in case?

This is a team who has been saddled with pretty high expectations. The D is there. The run game is there. The passing game......is pretty much the reason they're 0-2.

Is the Childress coachspeak legit in this case, or is it just the normal babble that precludes the inevitable? Can Chili stand pat on that stance about Jackson if they go 0-3? Not that I'd think they'd turn into a juggernaut or anything with Gus at the controls.....but I think Gus could, maybe, actually make teams respect their passing game.

I'm surprised no one as said his name yet...probably because there's a "stud" in front of him...Jamaal Charles???

Seems like there is shaky relationship with LJ and KC. This was after Herm mentioned that they wanted to give Charles some touches every game. They are taking LJ out of more plays. All this points for opportunity for Charles???

Given...the O-line sucks regardless who's in there and the qb is shaky at best.

I find the decision of Sproles, Bradshaw, and Charles to be a tough waiver choice...I can't make up my mind between the 3...(I'm thinking for "potential" help this year but mostly for dynasty purposes)

How about Greg Jones if the MJD injury is worse than feared? He has proven effective before when Fred went down.

I also like M. Bush a lot. He doesn't get any press due to the loads of talent in the Raider backfield but he would be solid if given some reps. And DMac could be a bit fragile. Hard to say.

Dynasty you have to look to Charles with a disgruntled LJ and a rebuilding KC......Bradshaw has to compete with Ward and the discussion boards will clearly point out the jury is split on who is the better back. Sproles has the best chance this year to succeed given his Oline and the fact that he is the backup to an already dinged up LT. Hester is there, but does not seem to be a threat. My .02.

My look at both Charles and Bradshaw are:Charles - may have the chance to become the starter soon, however, will be difficult for him to succeed on a team with no o-line or qb. (however, Forte is accomplishing this so far in pretty much the same scenario)Bradshaw - may need to emerge in the same way that Marion Barber did...through limited carries. Show he's got the goods and HOPE he has the chance to become the main man either in NY or on another team. A positive is the punishing way that Jacobs runs you can only wonder if he could possibly be a man who is constantly missing a few games a year, or worse yet, a significant injury which would certainly open the path for Bradshaw.
