He also pulled a Marino and faked spiked and took a shot in the endzone, but the ref inadvertently blew the play dead assuming he was spiking it. Lions didn't bite so it wouldn't have mattered.

He just had that lone 2 minute drive and it seemed like he was spreading it all over the place. I don't think any of the 1st team Jags pass catchers were out there either.

Yes you will be laughed at. Welker was a 100 catch per season guy for many seasons with NE. Only hurt once while taking serious punishment.

One of the key differences here... Welker was a warrior for NE like nothing else. Not a knock on Julian, but Wes never gets the full respect he has earned

Nothing to laugh at at all...as long as Edelman stays healthy he will be fed early and often by Brady...the kid is just hitting his prime (remember he was a college QB) and he has a real opportunity to put up big numbers for the next 3 years or so...
