I hate trying to tell someone to bench anyone - if you like the matchup and the player, you do you.
But maybe something to consider about Gronk...he only ran 25 routes last week (TB passed 40 times), and saw 5 targets.
That may not mean anything. Basically, there are two paths to being a top 5 TE. You have to have either 90 + targets OR 10+ touchdowns. In the last 20 years I think all but 1 or 2 TEs have been a Top 5 TE who surpassed either one. I want to say Dennis Pitta (awhile back) was one, and the other might have been Andrews last year (he had like 87 in 14 G so he was certainly on pace.)
The other super common trait is Top 5 TEs are almost always a Top 2 target on their team. Now it's not 98% like the above stats but it's still pretty high, like 85% of the time. Robert Tonyan last year was like 4th on his team in targets. It can def happen.
Gronk stays in to block a lot these days. Generally Top 5 TEs pass pro on less than 15%. Kittle is an exception to that, think last year he was at 15.3% - which makes sense for the 49ers to do, the guy is the absolute best blocking TE in the game. And Gronk.....well, he's an enthusiastic blocker.
So with GRONK you have: doesn't run a ton of routes, may not be targeted as often as we like to see, and he def doesn't look like a Top 2 target with that WR corps. But you know what? It's the GOAT QB and one of the best TEs ever, they have more TDs than any other QB-TE combo. To heck with stats and trends and historical qualifiers.
Andrews is a bit of n anomaly. Most Top 5 TEs are high snap count, high utilization. Andrews played around 60% of the snaps last year, and maybe less than 60% (58?) the year before. But the Ravens do these massive rotations, their snap count %s are unlike any other team in the league. And it doesn't matter in Andrews case bc 1) he still sees a ton of targets, always topping 90 2) his TD rate is high (we say TDs are variable and they are but then again some guys are heavily targeted in the RZ), 3) he is MOST definitely a Top 2 target in Baltimore, and 4) they don't ask him to block much, the other TEs on the roster handle that role. He is off to a bad start this year but it's a small sample size.
This week the Ravens are going to confidence camp. That's what playing Detroit is like for good teams. GB has a historically bad Week 1. R-E-L-A-X we got our favorite whipping boys coming to town, they can't stop anyone. Ravens are a train wreck right now? (/ their fans here and on Reddit) I would not worry about that this week.
Andrews ticks all the boxes for a Top 5 TE.
GRONK does not, but come on, it's TB12 and his favorite RZ target. Been a winning combo 11 of the last 12 years, no reason to think anything has changed.
