I really think the Browns want to run as much as possible so I think Judkins will see the most touches by a good margin. IDK what that means for production in DET against a team that can score in bunches. But, the Browns defense is incredibly strong and may be able to keep it close enough for Judkins to get over 15 carries. I don't love starting him but I do love touches...

I like Jefferson more than Chase because it's a neutral site matchup against a pretty mid defense (so far). Ja'Marr is on the road against a Broncos team desperate for a win and with a very strong defense.

Yeah, tough one. I don't think Hubbard would practice all week, even limited and mot be in line for his normal share of opportunities. He's also more likely to see opportunities in the passing game. Neutral matchup too.

I like Judkins and think he will see a lot of carries, I just don't know what to expect against a Lions team that can force opponents to throw quick, fast and in a hurry.

I lean Worthy here. Just because I think the Chiefs will have to throw a lot to keep pace with Baltimore. Of course, I'm sure this will turn into a 10-7 defensive battle. But, on paper I expect a lot of air yardage tomrrow.

At this point, I think it's time to bench Jeanty. He hasn't been good, his lack of usage as a receiver is concerning and, until we see the Raiders correct their OL issues, he's difficult to trust.

I know Judkins has a tough matchup but, I am a lot more confident in his opportunity share.

Lawrence by a good bit IMO. Dart is a total unknown, I imagine the Giants like what they see in practice but, first start against a tough Charger defense and I'll pass.

The Niners are down Nick Bosa, that should make things easier for the Jags OL.

I have no problem going with Fields in this one. It's a fine matchup and, his wheels cannot be ignored. He will probably have to do more to keep the Jets offense going than Jones who has the benefit of Taylor. Plus it's a much tougher matchup for Jones.

Complicating factor. Game is at 4 pm so I'd either have to risk placing somebody in at 1 or prepare somebody who has a 4 pm game.

Options (which are disgusting):

* I. Pacheco vs BAL (1 PM) -- Well, if he's going to do something it would be against a BALT run D that is getting torched on the ground. Of course, I'd expect K. Hunt to benefit as well.

* H. Fannin @DET (1 PM) -- Actually a great matchup. DET let M. Andrews come back from the dead last week. Flacco could be playing catchup.

* C. Rodriguez @ATL (1 PM) -- Only if "Bill" is inactive.

* P. Washington @SF (4 PM) -- He could be a sleeper. T. Hunter not doing much and Washington is getting looks (11 targets last week).

* T. Franklin vs CINC (Monday) -- Hot waiver pickup two weeks ago and then he proceeded to give everyone a 2-8-0. Good matchup though.

* L. McCaffrey @ATL (1 PM) -- Had a bit of a breakout last week with both N. Brown and T. McClaurin out.

I think I'd stick with Jennings here. Sure he's questionable, but I'd bet he plays. Purdy loves him. If he doesn't play? Parker Washington is a decent option in a PPR league to fill your 4pm slot.

I agree Fannin has a great match up ... but that means Njoku does as well, the Chief is due IMO.

Franklin cant be trusted, yet.

LMC is a stash.

Burden needs more work.

Pacheco? i need to see more usage, or burst.

C-Rod i believe will be useful down the road; but not worth the thought this situation.
 
Superflex league. 4 points per passing TD. Need two of these guys:

* C. Brown @Den -- Tough spot for Cinci, but the Denver run D can be had. In addition, they give up a lot of receptions to RBs. Maybe he wakes up and Browning proves.

* M. Mariota @ATL -- Playing a second QB in the superflex spot is usually a good strategy. Revenge game for Mariota. Good for some rushes, maybe a rushing TD. Scored 20+ last week. If "Bill" is ruled out, even better.

* G. Pickens vs GB -- He steps into the #1 WR role with CD out. That may or may not be a good thing. He'll probably stay on the perimeter. Don't think he moves around like CD does in and out of the slot. GB D is nails. And will be riled up after upset loss and M. Parsons coming back to Dallas. Could see him getting targets. Could also see a 2-11-0 game where GB forces it underneath to Fergason and the other WRs.

* T. Higgins @Den -- Very hard to trust with Browning at QB. DEN pass D is very good. Now if Surtain is on Chase, it could open things up.

* R. Doubs @DAL -- Great matchup. Who knows who goes off here. Could be any or all of Wicks, Golden, Doubs, or Kraft. Dice roll.

Which two?

Right now, I'm leaning C. Brown and M. Mariota.

Don't think I could trust Dart against the LAC D in his first start.

I'd go Fields. MIA D is crud. Think that game is a sneaky high scorer / entertaining game.

I agree with your lean, Mariota and Brown. Pickens IS interesting though. This will be the first week in whcih they've had a full gameplan ith him being the #1. I think he's your upsdie play, Chase Brown is the "safe" play, even though that Cincy o-line is trash.

After typing this out, I've pivoted. I like Mariota and Pickens here.

Actually, if it is down to Brown or Pickens...good. Pickens plays tmrw night and Brown on Monday. So if I'm down big, I could go with Pickens. If I'm up big, go conservative and Brown.

I'm tempted to believe Henderson will see more opportunities this week. He is in my lineup ATM. He won't be full time yet because, I don't believe he has all his protections on lockdown but, with all the fumbling going on with Rhamondre & Gibson they have to give him more opportunities in more obvious running situations and script a few more passes for him, right? And it should be a plus matchup at home too.

I'd go Bo. Feel like a big night for Denver.

Vrabel said he's not going to punish Stevenson. We'll see. I think you'll see Henderson get an uptick in touches with BOTH Stevenson and Gibson fumbling. If NE is smart they run all over CAR...their pass D isn't bad. I'd go Henderson.

I'd say if you're projected to lose, go homerun with Wicks. That Dallas secondary is dreadful and somebody or somebodies are getting deep tmrw.

Bateman is just as much of a dice roll anyways. KC D tough too.

Both Monty and Kamara have brutal matchups. I lean Kamara over Monty because it's PPR and he really isn't splitting time with anyone. Etienne has been playing well and, Nick Bosa is out but, I am a little wary of the Jags in general. But, he should see his 16 touches, including a few targets and he has the talent to break one off.

Very tough call... I think I lean

Kamara>ETN>Monty

For flex give me Keenan. He's playing like an all pro and it's a plus matchup. Sutton is also a good option and, if you like him better I have no problem with him over Keenan

I think Pearsall and Golden are locks assuming Pearsall plays.

I don't think you can trust Thorton with Worthy back. And I just don't think Franklin is to the level of proven I'm starting him over Montgomery.

It's a good matchup for Franklin. But I can see where Denver gets up big early without Franklin touching the ball. And then they just run the ball in the 2nd half.

As far as Monty--I think he'll see 10-15 touches. Cleveland's defense is stout, but it's hard to see Cleveland blowing Detroit out to where Detroit has to abandon the run,

Thanks, pretty much thinking the same. if Pearsall is ruled out I can pivot to either Thornton or Franklin with all three later games.

Mariotta for sure.

Then I think it's between Brown and Pickens. I think Brown is the right call, but I could see it completely blowing up in your face.

Pickens will get some looks, but I worry Dallas will be a doodoo show vs GB without LAmb.
 
.5 PPR, start 3: Javonte Williams vGB, Skattebo vLAC, Pollard @HOU, Judkins @DET.

I'm worried that NYG and CLE will go down big early and prevent Skatt and Judkins from making a major impact. Skatt should see a lot of dumpoffs from Dart, but it might just be a bloodbath with the rookie behind center. Pollard has a great matchup and he gets the volume, but hasn't been very good. Javonte feels like a must-start regardless of matchup, but GB might just clamp the running game... I guess with GB's pass rush he should see plenty of targets? Feels like I'll get production regardless, but picking the worst of these 4 feels impossible.

Also, am I crazy to start Ayomanor @HOU over Higgins @Den and Jeudy @DET? Just getting sick of seeing low single-digit production out of them.

Plan on Jennings, pivot to Franklin. I'm not "confident" in Franklin, but I'm not confident in any of them. He has a nice matchup with the Cincy defense.

I think Kamara on the RB. Buffalo run defense isn't anything special. Currently giving up the 14th most FPPG to RB. Presumably Buffalo wins and New Orleans passes a lot, so he should get plenty of opportunities for pass catching.

I think on the flex, I'm going Sutton. Good matchup with Cincy. He's the clear cut #1.

I don't trust Pickens or the Dallas offense with Lamb out after what we saw last week.

ETN and Montgomery have tough matchups.

Keenan is fine, but they will probably have weeks where each guy is quiet. Sutton is the clear alpha on that offense.
 
Keenun or Deebo.....

Keenun vs NYG, lots of mouths and a possible negative games script.
Deebo will be option 1 with Mariota and Wash going against a light but fiesty LV defense...

I think Washington is the clear plan B to Jennings. You have a bunch of spec options that are, ultimately dart throws. Washington has two relevant weeks in a row and, apparently has 11 target upside.

I could make an argument for Pacheco but, if he could only muster 10-45 against the Giants I wouldn't want to rely on him.

Feels like I'll get production regardless, but picking the worst of these 4 feels impossible.

Also, am I crazy to start Ayomanor @HOU over Higgins @Den and Jeudy @DET? Just getting sick of seeing low single-digit production out of them.

I think I'd bench Scattebo for the reasons you said. Worst matchup of the bunch. Dart could have an ugly day.

I would not start Ayomanor alongside Pollard. Higgins has the most talent. Browning is solid at times. I just don't think I want a Cam ward pass catcher right now if I can avoid it.

Definitely Mariota, IMO because it's SF.

I might consider Pickens over Brown. At least he's been productive. Nine targets with a TD in back-to-back games. It's still a good offense with a legitimate QB and a pretty good OL and a credible run game. I'm not a big Pickens guy but, opportunity is king and it looks like he's in line for 10 targets.

Not confident in Doubs or Higgins

I'm good with Pearsall and Monty definitely makes sense (when in doubt start the guy in a top 3 scoring offense).

Personally, I would go with Thornton in the last spot. I expect even more passing and, I wonder if Worthy will be eased back just a little. But when he's in the field that's less coverage for Thornton.

Golden is a pure spec play. It could pay off for sure against that defense but, to date his usage is very limited and, I'm not sure I can trust it. I might even start Franklin over him because at least he has seen good volume (he's seen almost four more targets per game than Golden).

* T. Franklin vs CINCI -- Monday night. Disappeared last week after going 8-89-1 the week before. Good matchup.

I'm worried that NYG and CLE will go down big early and prevent Skatt and Judkins from making a major impact. You've got four backs in line for 20 opportunities. They all have tough matchups but, thems the breaks.

Personally, Pollard has the lowest efficiency so far and, Houston can still be a tough defense. So, that's who I bench. But, you can make a valid pro/con argument each of these guys so, start the ones you'll have the most fun watching.

Depends on the confidence you do or do not have in Engram. Personally I think if he's playing he's the guy I would start just because of the matchup. Cleveland also has a more crowded receiving room in my opinion.
