Week 4 Drops (1 Viewer)

We always discuss the hot WW pickups, but you can't add without dropping. In redraft, who are we giving up on?

andre johnson

12 man league. start 1-2-2-1-1-1-1.

5 bench spots, no IR.

In a 10 team PPR - Thinking about dropping Crowell and D. Martin. If John Brown doesn't put something together pretty soon I may send him to the wire too. I like the kid, but I can't afford to roster him for half the season while I wait for a breakout that may or may not be coming.

Tre Mason, thought he'd be able to serve as a nice bench guy as they ease Gurley. Completely useless even if he splits 50/50

I'm getting to that point with Agholor. I figured he might start off slow but this is slower than I imagined and the offense as a whole hasn't been what was expected.

Brown has actually had solid games, but its not showing up in the FF score yet.

He has had a bunch of PI penalties against him and he dropped a TD pass this weekend.

I am currently starting him as a WR3 in all leagues, but in a 2 WR league it may be a different situation.

I have Crowell in 2 leagues too, and I don't even want to talk about that #### bag.

Injuries have decimated my RBs, and I need this guy to step up, but he just isn't doing it.

I can't cut him yet, he does have the possible workload to be serviceable every week, and there is nothing on my waiver wires but rotting carcasses.

Hopefully he starts putting up 10-12 point games anyway.

(Crowell has SF in week 14, thats a must win week for FF teams. I do not want to drop him and let someone squeeze their way into the playoffs because of it)

Same here. I will add him back if I open up another spot because it seems like Philly needs to try something. If someone else nabs him in the meantime then I can be assured he will knock me out of the playoffs. :)

Starks. Lacy looked healthy enough even though Starks out touched him. He's a lottery ticket if Lacy goes down, but just can't hold him due to early byes.

Crabtree, only because of need to add a QB due to staffords ineptitude and his upcoming schedule against Seattle and Arizona. The targets are there, but if you have solid WRs, he's not cracking your lineup.

5 player benches.

It's hard to believe it took this long to mention Charles Johnson. He's a victim of the system and now he's banged up. He may get unleashed at some point but it won't be with my team. I should have learned my Minnesota WR sleeper lesson with Cordarrelle last year. :wall:

Crowell is oh so close but the RB landscape is just such a wasteland this season that even 10 for 35 sounds good at times.

Hung onto DeAngelo only because FBG's hyped him as a must roster and trade bait for Bell owners. With Ben down, even moreso, I think it's safe to move on. I'm appreciative of DWill's two week run. But I got to let go.

I can't imagine you couldn't get anything for DeAngelo from the Bell owner. I own both but would definitely give up something if I didn't have DeAngelo

I would hold DWill as long as possible. I don't think the Vick led Steelers offense will be as bad as some seem to think. It takes from my elite to average.

I can't believe anyone would drop John Brown right now. I would hold DWill as well, anyone can get hurt in this league and he has shown he can produce.

DeAngelo is a must keep.

Done with Agholor. He's worthless. Picked up Montgomery
I'm a Bell owner who has D'angelo and I'm dropping him.. Then again I'm 0-2-1, so I feel like taking a chance on Rawls is better than burning a bench spot on a handcuff.

Smaller league? You don't think he can get healthy and provide some value?
I'm dropping him in a shallow 10-team PPR where someone impulse dropped Allen Robinson after week 1 and I added Moncrief as my third and 4th receivers behind Julio and Evans. No need for a 5th receiver and not getting anywhere in trades on a guy with a high ankle sprain that hasn't produced.

Im dropping Agolar in one league. AJ and maybe T Williams in another. I dropped Adams in both.

Anyone who wants to be in my league is just fine with me, pick em all up and wait, I need now points with the state of my WRs (Dez, DJax, etc.)

This thread is a good idea, but it's only helpful to know who you are dropping if we know your league size and scoring.

For instance it's way more significant to drop d. Adams in a league with deep benches than one with shallow benches.

It's way more significant to drop duke Johnson in a pot league than standard.

I've defended crowell and want it to work but he just can't get there. He may yet get there but I don't have room to wait with some early byes

Factor in owning the "top 5" Houston d going into Atlanta I think I need a D More than cro as I'm under .500

Second the Charles Johnson nomination.
1) He was gone after week 2...

2) Had to send T Lockett to the bench after starting him in week 1 in daily. Great talent, just not gonna see the field too much.

3) Just traded Martin for McCoy straight up. Done with Martin!

4) Sent L Miller packing too! Traded Miller for L Murray before Murray got hot.

12 team redraft, .5 PPR, probably dropping Duke Johnson this week. I was iffy on drafting him in the first place, because Browns...and nothing has happened thus far to make feel like I need to keep this guy rostered in redraft, no matter how much I think he is skilled.

Thinking about dropping Romo to pick up Carr. Was going to try to save Romo for a playoff run but Carr is looking really good on the wire. Already have Newton as my 2nd qb filling in nicely so far. Don't like Carr's week 5 match up against the Broncos though so would need to also pick up Alex Smith for week 5 match up vs.the Bears.

If Brown got dropped, I would be all over picking him up.
Alshon got dropped in my league. I'm trying to decide if he's a chump for dropping him or I'm the chump for trying to pick him up...
I don't care how small your league is, Al has to be rosteted. I have been trying my ### off to trade for him this week with no luck.

IMO, Id just hold with Cam & Romo...If you didnt have a good backup, then yeah drop Romo for Carr.
