Week 5 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

thomas jones, outside of his knee is where the injury is... maybe heard a pop, but he's unsure. ran on the sidelines a bit and caused more problems. wrapping the knee and iceing it. benson to take carries.
Wow that does not sound good!

ya, i heard a nice pop in my knee when i tore my ACL and MCL. could be bad. bears have blown this game big time too.

Nursing a 10-6 lead, Adrian Peterson, not Benson, came in for TJ.Peterson had a nice 20 yard run.

They really don't have much faith in Benson. Peterson is in there I'm assuming to protect Otong, But just knocked the ball out of Orton's hand diving to chop block a blitzing Brown safety.

.CHI-J.Tait was injured during the play. His return is Doubtful. Bears best O-lineman. That will be a killer if he's out next week.

How bad was McAllister injured?
I was watching the game when he got hurt, and it didn't look bad at all. He hobbled off the field and was waking it off on the sidelines. He never sat down at all, and they kept the camara on him for awhile.

Dillon back out on the sideline. Still in uniform and seemed to be walking fine. Doesn't seem like it's anything to worry about.

lj smith makes a catch and stumbles to the ground. walks to the sideline and sits down. trainers tending to his leg now. my take is he's putting on a small show so he doesn't look like such a dip for tripping over the 40 yard line.

Did he come back into the game? Any word from news conference?

they showed Smith going into locker room with the announcers saying that the Eagles will have to play without him the rest of the game.Guess I was late with the update.

Announcer just mentioned that "the eagles have to play the rest of the game without their very good tight end"

:wall:
that's just joe buck, pay no attention to him.
Yeah, it didn't make much sense to me. Going to the locker room doesn't necessarily mean he isn't coming back.

Seems like a strange comment from the announcers considering that he was just walking into the locker room presumably for x-rays or whatever. I mean there is a lot of time left in this game and without giving any more definitive answer on what the injury is, how did he make the assessment that he was done for the day?

Portis out....they are looking at his ankle on the sideline.Didn't look too serious...wet field, tweaked the ankle?Walking it off.

Not only that, but they showed him walking on it hardly limping at all, and they didn't even go to the locker room right away. I think it's precautionary x-rays and as I said earlier, I wouldn't be surprised at all if LJ came back into the game.Still, I'm glad I started DClark over LJ.

being a st. louis cardinal fan, i hear joe buck quite a bit througout the year. joe doesn't even compare to his father jack. joe is obnoxious and always just being an idiot.

Lions' Roy Williams out with leg injury 2005-10-09 15:43DETROIT (AP) - Lions receiver Roy Williams injured his left leg in the second quarter against Baltimore on Sunday and was unable to return.Williams was hurt trying to catch defensive end Terrell Suggs after he intercepted a pass and returned it 38 yards. While Williams was running, he slowed up holding his left thigh. He left the game with two receptions for 24 yards. The Lions began the game without starting receiver Charles Rogers, who was suspended earlier in the week for four games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. With Williams and Rogers out, Detroit was left with just three receivers - Mike Williams, Kevin Johnson and Scottie Vines - for two-plus quarters against the Ravens.
