Don't be that guy, flap.
What's that
Every time there's a waiver thread, "that guy" says, "No way he's available!" or "Your league is a joke if he's a free agent!".

Imo, "that guy" is annoying.

Hence, the "Don't be that guy".

In your defense, Raback also chose to be "that guy".

But hey, we all make mistakes. I won't hold this one against either of you. :D
Adrian Peterson. Slow start to this year but I think he's an rb1 ros
You mean that RB who used to play for the Bears? Hadn't realized he was still in the league.

Willie Snead. I'm just sayin...
I knew next week was going to be tough for me at WR (and that was even before Stevie Johnson pulled his hammy) so I grabbed Snead before tonight's game in order to bypass waivers. Looking like a good decision based on tonight's results.

Gostkowski is coming back from a bye and was probably dropped
Not in my leagues. Dude is like a Terminator. Everyone drafts him first and takes the 0 during the bye.
This is exactly what I did. Up 138-46. He has Lynch, Prater, and Lions D left. I'm OK with my decision.
I've been bit by a tie going to points for before, so will always try to get the most points possible each week

I'm in a competitive league with a short bench. Both Duke Johnson and Leonard Hankerson are available...debating which one to pick up.

depends what position you need more. pretty high floor, low ceiling with hankerson. big upside with duke. go duke if you're 1-3 or 2-2, or if your roster is in need of a boost, but still complete. Go hank if youre plagued by injuries, or doing well and just need some bye week guy to put up a solid effort each game.

There are two problems for Duke. One is that he plays for Cleveland and the second is that Robert Turbin will be joining the cast of Cleveland RB's in a couple of weeks further muddling the situation there. Depending on Mondays game Zenner could be another RB to add but also in a crowded backfield. Cmike should be a priority add for any Dunbar owner.

He was drafted in all of mine, maybe if you are in a 15 player 12 team league or less. In my 16 player leagues he been gone since the draft.

Ty Montgomery continuing to emerge for Green Bay. Using him out of the back field ala Harvin.
After the draft one scout called him a bigger Cobb so think that was the plan. They like him on bubble screens and as a RB/WR getting YAC.

He's owned in 11.3% of ESPN leagues. There's a good chance he's available for a lot of people out there.

This thread is indicative of this whole forum lately. About 1/2 of you make honest advice, and about 1/2 of you are just here to make C-mike jokes and sarcastic, crap comments.

It's getting really hard to actually get useful information out of a lot of it, especially if you aren't one of those people who can afford to watch every game on Sunday and see how everyone did.

He dropped 3 passes today, including an 80 yard TD on the 1st play of the game.
I didn't see the game but I find this encouraging. If he had caught that he would be the number 1 WW add for stat chasers. I like that he got the opportunities, And if that was a deep ball I really like that.

My bigger concern is what is going on with Adams, I'm a fan but if he is out long enough he may not have his role anymore.

I think its important to view who is perceived to have been picked up already as you can then identify what you are missing as an owner. Guys like Hankerson and Hurns should be picked up but if not grab them if you have the space.

Why should they have been picked up previously?

Hankerson - #2 option in the ATL offense with White disappearing most of the season

Hurns - great TD threat for a Jacksonville offense that can now sustain drives and have a RB who will garner some attention

Is your league bad for not having these guys picked up, no and hopefully I never come off like that. Personally it is rewarding to win a league with a bunch of "experts" but at the same time I normally have the most fun in a work league with a few less than stellar owners.

Snead seems very interesting. This guy is emerging - has nearly as many targets as Cooks, and his catch rate is very high. Plus, Graham is obviously gone, Colston looks done and Coleman is not producing much. When you figure the Saints are likely going to throw the ball a lot this year, there are some targets to be had in that offense.

Hankerson needs to be owned and he's still available in a lot of leagues
Ehh, I mean Ive had my eye on him for a couple weeks now but today's game didnt make me think run to get Hankerson. He was wide open on his 55 yard catch and his YAC was nice on the play but nobody was around him.
Because Atlanta has a high powered offense and Roddy is done?
Would you take Hankerson over R. Randle? I'm riddled with Injuries over here and need to pull out a win week 5.

WR =

S. Smith

D. Jackson

D. Bryant

Moncrief

Hurns

Randle

I would but I'd drop Hurns instead of Randle

I would consider Cole Beasley at this point especially in full PPR. Dunbar going out means the Cowboys will need a 3rd down possession receiver. I think it's more him than McFadden. Not big points and he's never put up big yards but add in that Weeden and Cassell just don't throw that deep and I believe they'll be using him.

All 3 of these guys in ppr

Duke

Chris Thompson

Charles Simms

Royal- if he was dropped

Snead- possible flex during bye weeks

Bersin- will keep an eye on him

Quick- this o is looking better, so if he does return to form he could have value

I know stat chasing, but worth pointing out Jamison Crowder for the Redskins has had a couple good games now, and yesterday he had 12 targets, 7/65.

Tavon Austin had a big game - 7/6/96/2 rec + 2/20 ru.

With Reed probably out for the Redskins next week and still not definite timeframe for DJax, I like Jamison Crowder. Looked good out of the slot this week.

Charles Sims? While he hasn't completely taken over he seems to be gaining traction..

Also Tevin Coleman is out there in my league, does he deserve a bench spot or wait to see how he does when he returns?
