The 3rd Down throw to Grant, yes it produced a FD but it was pretty "airy" and seemed like many Jets defenders were in the area and an interception could have occurred.
He rolled around in his own end zone earlier before that, could have been an issue with 2 guys coming in on him.

He’s the best. As crazy as it seems he holds the Jets single season record for TD passes and gave us a magical season after Geno Smith got his jaw busted. It was so fun to watch him.

Jets are now in Sole Possession of the No 1 Pick in the 2021 Draft where they can turn the franchise around by taking Trevor Lawrence.
How the Jets continue to blunder the next many weeks will impact their pick. It looks like Gase is very capable of continuing to lose, keep him in place as long as possible thru the season.

They will be able to cast him as the next Joe Willy Namath. I'm sure even if you are right the Jets don't care about the risk.
