Week 7 Wavier Wire Targets (1 Viewer)

Anyone thinking about snagging Chris Henry...the other Chris Henry? In preseason I heard rumblings that he was easily the most talented RB on Tennessee's roster and would be the man by midseason. I can't help but think back to last season when Travis Henry was inactive the first several weeks and then all of a sudden took the starting job and ran with it. Maybe it is more than just his last name that gives me a bit of Dejavu. As long as Chris Henry uses protection and can stay away from the hippy lettuce I think he could be nice. What say you?

We must have heard different rumblings. I didn't hear anything on him that was a positive other than typical coachspeak. I got the sense LenDale was going to be their guy and thus far that's held somewhat true.

lol.. i can understand the laughter but lendale white can be a nice filler for week 7 with chris brown listed as questionable... if brown is inactive he's money.

Not sure, but i think he's laughing at the thought of Lendale actually being available on a waiver wire. Maybe in a 8 team league.

I believe the enforcer said he liked Obomanu going forward!
Give it a rest. I called Pasquino out on giving himself props. He posted in that thread back in September based on Obomanu's talent level, not an opportunity based injuries to the starters. He bumped that thread to give him self props.Obomanu is going to get one more game before the starters return. So far he hasn't done anything to indicate that he'll still see the field after this next week. He'll go back to being the #5 WR in Seattle.
So what's wrong with giving yourself props?
 I thought the same thing when I read "called Pasquino out on giving himself props". That really takes some nerve to call someone out like that!
Meh, I gotta side with it lacking class. Let someone else brag on you, but otherwise keep your mouth shut. There's no reason for it.
The only problem with accusation is that I am the one who BUMPED the thread from the preseason, not Pasquino. I thought it had some good insight. :lmao:

Yes, but read the thread title.
Here's another issue with White. The Titans Offense has been deplorable since week 2...Fisher said rookie running back and second round pick Chris Henry could get his first action of the season if veteran Chris Brown's ankle still bothered him. ''I think that there is a good chance that Chris [Henry] will be [active this week] because Chris Brown will probably be day-to-day most of the week because his ankle is tender,'' Fisher said.

Got room? Pickup Chris Henry...Fisher rides the hot hand. If Henry does well. He will stick. ;)

I'm on board. We've been talking about "Chrissy Brown" for a while now, and when you say "FatDale," everyone knows who you're talking about. I'll come right out and say that all I've seen from Henry was ONE preseason game, but on that one game, I believe he is the best runner on that team. I don't claim to know squat about his blocking ability, comprehension of the offense or his hands - OOTB or fumble related - but he has a shot to be the starter in the near future if the side jobs are learned well.

Go back and look at the time stamp on each post. He bumped the thread to promote himself. Has nothing to do with you.

Picked up Mercedes Lewis TE Jac for Gates bye week fill in

Call it intuition or the fact i've been watching way too much porn but he's my pick

WHY WOULD HE BE ON THE WAIVER WIRE
He was dropped in my 12 team league. We can only hold 3 RBs on our roster. I think he got dropped during his bye week and was never picked up. I plan on picking him up to use in weeks 7 (Houston) and 8 (Oakland) to cover for LT and Edge. Hopefully, I get him at 11th in waivers this week.

Obo's window has closed for now. Hackett back this game and Branch back the next. He bumps down 2 slots. So until another WR or 2 go down in Seattle, he pops his head back up. But for now he's back in the cellar.

LINK right back at ya. The thread was dead for three days. Do you have any idea how far a thread drops in three days? Again, this has nothing to do with you.

May as well as Kevin Faulk to the list.....

(Rotoworld) The Boston Herald confirms that Sammy Morris will miss at least this week and possibly a lot longer with a chest injury.

Impact: Morris reportedly injured the bone connecting the sternum to the clavicle and left Dallas' stadium in excruciating pain. The good news is Morris didn't break a bone. But it could be a long while until Morris is ready to help fantasy teams again.

The sternum and Clavicle articulate with each other. There is no bone connecting the two. http://www.eorthopod.com/public/patient_ed...t_problems.html

Are you trying to say he has cartilage or ligament damage?

Edit: Just noticed it was a quote from Rotoworld. Don't they know that there is not a bone between the sternum and clavicle?

Has there been word from the Pats that he's definitely out next week? I can't put a player on IR unless he's definitely out

Again, there is nothing wrong with bumping your own thread if you called something, then everyone gave you grief over it, and then what you said was true. I didn't read his thread and I don't know the particulars of this situation, but I see nothing wrong with giving yourself props in the case I'm talking about.

Maybe, just maybe, Jeff bumped it when Obomanu scored because you were being a smartass:
Don't look now but he scored again.....
Don't look now, but he hasn't made much of his recent opportunity.
Then of course you had this gem:
Touchdown Obomanu.
Wow. Are you really that insecure that you needed to do that? Whatever you need to do so you can look in the mirror.
Maybe you should just give it a rest already.
