Glennon is @SEA. I'm not sure I'd take him in a league that awarded bonus points for "QB still alive at end of game".Josh McCown.Any thoughts on Josh McCown? Need a bye-week fill-in for Stafford and it's between him, Geno or Keenum. GB isn't such a bad matchup. I also feel like backup QBs with stud WRs usually find a way to get them the ball (eg, Glennon/VJax).
That is a good offensive system, he's going to Marshall, Jeffery, Forte and Bennett.
After that, Glennon. All kinds of garbage time coming his way.
Deep desperation bomb: Jason Campbell.
Hard to say, although I think Hillis will at least remain a part of the rotation since he's been workmanlike over the past two games - and more importantly, team wins. I imagine Cox sees much less time (and could be inactive), and who knows about Jacobs depending on his health. While Hillis and Jacobs are one-dimensional, Coughlin appreciates their hard nosed style. Brown has the most talent, but he's also rusty.I am jumping on this bandwagon. The Giants are starting to show signs of life. If Wilson stays out of the picture, then I believe Brown has to be the most talented back in the rotation....hopefully, the G-Men won't keep feeding the ball to Hillis, and Jacobs just goes away. Any thoughts on the Giant backfield moving forward?Andre Brown
Jones has 3 consistent weeks in PPR his past 3 games? 19.5, 15, 44 (also has a 12.8 sprinkled in earlier in the year). In that span he's 15/250/6 good for WR3 only behind Calvin and VJax......ahead of AJ Green. Sure this game is an anomaly, but C'mon everyone's a one week wonder at some point. Can either post consistent ff numbers or were these just one week wonders?just_want_2_win said:Kenny Stills

Locker has an incredible playoff schedule weeks 14-16 with @DEN, AZ, and @JAX. He was my first WW Target last week.Locker is a great pick up if you're a Brady owner.Jake Locker if you need a bye fill-in. Quietly has put up QB1 numbers in his last 3 starts, and has a manageable schedule.

Marvin Jones
CJ Anderson - looked the part, quick/powerful (preemptive)
Karim - you never know but deep
Fozzy - being used a little
Burleson -regain WR2 in a week? Consistent as they come before the injury and now an even clearer picture of his opportunity
Dexter McCluster
Mike Brown - starting to become a trend if you didn't believe that one at first
David Nelson - 2 descent weeks, but you know.
Drew Davis - Roddy may limp back?
Justin Hunter - preemptive
Patterson- preemptive
Rishard Matthews
Any of the speculative trade partner RBs - LeShoure, Ryan Williams, Starks, Ingram, heck Hillman?
I think the thing to do is figure out who the next big WW grab for week 10 is going to be, and I'm guessing it will be Tim Wright or Mike Brown at this rate.Tim wright?
Hey as a happy Seahawks owner, I agree. - But if people are looking for some kind of gameplan because of injuries to Cutler, Vick, etc., Glennon is putting up decent stat lines. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up with a negatuive FF point total vs Seattle, but then if they go up 38-3 and he proceeds to get a couple garbage TDs I wouldn't be surprised either. In any event I'm really thinking about after Seattle, could be part of a QBBC who knows. I mean we're talking QBs on the WW at this time of the season, chancy stuff to begin with.Glennon is @SEA. I'm not sure I'd take him in a league that awarded bonus points for "QB still alive at end of game".Josh McCown.Any thoughts on Josh McCown? Pre-emptive pickup: http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/8399/ray-grahamTexans signed RB Ray Graham and LB Jeff Tarpinian.
Graham is the third running back the Texans have signed in the past 24 hours, joining veteran Deji Karim and fellow rookie Dennis Johnson. It's a clear indication that Ben Tate (ribs) is in danger of missing Week 9, and that Arian Foster (hamstring) isn't guaranteed to go. Tarpinian will contribute on special teams.
Wow, thanks for pointing out the waivers piece. With Schaub being benched, I needed a new backup for this week and was already able to grab Locker just now without having to wait for a waiver claim.Great call.Jake Locker if you need a bye fill-in. Quietly has put up QB1 numbers in his last 3 starts, and has a manageable schedule.
And he's available right now in a lot of leagues since TEN is on bye this week. No need to wait for waivers.
This is the guy I'm keeping a close eye on. For some reason, he strikes me as someone who can just blow up if given an opportunity.LaVon Brazill (IND - preemptive)
Is Brown eligible to play week ten or AFTER week ten?Hard to say, although I think Hillis will at least remain a part of the rotation since he's been workmanlike over the past two games - and more importantly, team wins. So it's clear as mud - may take a week or two after the bye to sort things out.
Need a Julius Thomas bye week TE filler. I'm putting in for Fleener, then Graham I think. I'm actually feeling ok on him if I miss on Fleener. How do you guys feel about garret graham as a bye week filler for week 9? With a somewhat banged up running game they might rely on the pass more and he does get targets from Keenum
He was looking good before the QB turmoil. I'm not sure Keenum will target him any more than he did vs KC, in fact they may leave in an io-lineman or ask GG to block more. How do you guys feel about garret graham as a bye week filler for week 9? Wouldn't Karim be the expected starter in that scenario (Foster & Tate out?)?Pre-emptive pickup: http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/8399/ray-grahamTexans signed RB Ray Graham and LB Jeff Tarpinian.

sounds minor IMO, he was on the field in motion running on the last play.Any new developments based on last night's game?
Is Stacy ok, or will Richardson be getting a start???
I think they'll be far more committed to the run after the bye, whether that means anything, who knows.but there IS value in the Giants backfield..Brown should take over the lead role, he's the most talented RB they have...Jacobs is toast..Hillis has done well.Hard to say, although I think Hillis will at least remain a part of the rotation since he's been workmanlike over the past two games - and more importantly, team wins. Harry Douglass? In what, a 6-team league?Nick Foles if he got dropped, Marvin jones, Terrance Williams and Harry Douglas if they are still available.
Based on what I read today, possibly. Also saw a mention of Johnson getting carries. I guess it might be a situation to avoid for now.Wouldn't Karim be the expected starter in that scenario (Foster & Tate out?)?Pre-emptive pickup: http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/8399/ray-grahamTexans signed RB Ray Graham and LB Jeff Tarpinian.

Wright and Stills won't be there afterwards in any 12 or 14 leaguers. Are you guys using #1 or #2 waiver on Marvin Jones? Tough call...especially if your league has players like Stills, KWright, LMoore, etc available that you could grab after waivers are run.
I like his schedule for the ROS not only 14-16...it's pretty juicy IMO.Locker has an incredible playoff schedule weeks 14-16 with @DEN, AZ, and @JAX. If he remains healthy, he could easily post Strong QB1-Elite QB numbers against DEN and JAX
Had initially chosen McCown over Keenum (don't trust Campbell/Foles as far as I can throw them ... or as far as they can throw a football). Then someone dropped Locker and I nabbed him. He's only a one-week fill-in for Stafford, so I don't really care about his schedule ROS. The one thing that worries me, as was pointed out in another thread, is that he's on the road this week, and tends to play much better at home. But I still think he's a safer pick than McCown. The Replacements:bicycle_seat_sniffer said:looking at these options at QB with Peyton on bye and Vick hurt/sucking:

Locker should be very well owned, I can't believe I let him get snyped, but if he's out there with his schedule and momentum I'd say he would be first in order.
- Foles
- McCown
- Campbell
- Keenum
Campbell has BAL & then a bye, so I'd say no there but he could have value later throwing to Cameron and Gordon.
Foles and McCown both seem like legit cheap pickups right now. Keenum I have no feel for, but again he will have Foster, AJ, G Graham, Hopkins.
Nelson plays for the Jets and had 2 decent weeks. What about David Nelson (WR, BUF) and Drew Davis (WR, ATL)?
Yes used to be Bills my bad.Nelson plays for the Jets and had 2 decent weeks. What about David Nelson (WR, BUF) and Drew Davis (WR, ATL)?
Trying to decide between these 2 and Brazil.. Looking for upside. Am i crazy to think Brazil is the guy? Burleson looks like a high floor WR 3 with upside. Crabtree looks too far off.... however I've held Andre brown now for 6 weeks..'Nasty' Nate Burleson
Michael Crabtree
Kaepernick was dropped in my league and Locker is on wires... drop Pryor for either? RG3 starting so need to have some confidence in backup. The Replacements:bicycle_seat_sniffer said:looking at these options at QB with Peyton on bye and Vick hurt/sucking:

I'm going to 2nd that. I've got Cameron going now but he's on bye week 10. Wright seems like he is in shape to be a really hot commodity next week WW wise. He's listed as a WR/TE in yahoo leagues which offers great flexibility.Tim wright?

hobson's only for very deep leaguers, I thinkI like Hobson's trending snap count and targeting numbers.
Very deep league with 21-man rosters and 12 teams with 12 starters (3 keepers). I own Stacy so my top three waiver claims were Richardson, Hobson, and the Colts. My waiver priority is too high...I'd rather be higher in the standings and not having to fish for these guys. DWilson, Julio, Vereen, Gronk, LMiller, Bowe...my roster-building didn't go too well this season.
Drew Davis, Vinitieri, Baldwin, Pierce, McCluster were other early acquisitions this week.
If you are looking for a tie-breaker, Locker has a much better fantasy play-off schedule.Torn between Pryor and Locker for this week, and with an eye towards backing up Kaepernick going forward (who has been erratic). Could imagine a matchup play somewhere down the road for one of them.
