Through the FBG fanduel freeroll I got started in weekly fantasy football and it has been a lot of fun. While I still have my regular leagues, I have to admit that I am into the weekly a lot more (maybe to the detriment of my other teams). With this different perspective though, I find myself considering things differently. The question of "start or sit" isn't as big of a deal as "who is the best value guy". Sure, I'd start Ray Rice each week in regular leagues, but no way would I put him in my lineup each week in fanduel or draftstreet.

I was just curious as to whether or not I am relatively unique in my focus shift or if this is moving into the mainstream of FFB.

Ok - I consider myself pretty versed in fantasy but what is weekly fantasy football? :bag:

You pick new guys each week?

That's actually a very reasonable question to ask. It's my understanding that there's about a thousand different versions out there and, yes, they are primarily non-roster type games.I run an FFTOC-type contest, for instance, where you pick a different starting lineup every week. You can use anyone you like within the confines of the lineup definition but you can only use a player once all year. I'm also experimenting with a small (6-8 player) poker league where we hold an online auction every week to buy new lineups and then play a head to head schedule. It's hard for me to believe that these types of games are the "coming thing" but they fit pretty nicely for some of us who may be a little bored with traditional fantasy.
