Well... well... Look who's gonna get exposed on Sunday... (1 Viewer)

That's right the coach that backed his team all the way into the 2nd round of the playoffs is gonna be exposed come Sunday.

They won 1 of 4 games in December, and Dallas GAVE them the game last week. Thanks for the safety Terry Glenn....

Mike Holmgren and the Seahags will be proven as frauds that they are come high noon Seattle time on Sunday.

I dunno Grid, I think this could be the upset of the week. Anti-conspiracy theorist here... :lmao:

:lmao:  :banned: Don't forget, they're only playing Chicago this week. A mere speedbump along the way to the Superbowl.

exposed as what - a 9-7 wildcare team?? BTW they went 2-3 in December... and 1-0 in January, the only month that counts anymore.

It should be fun reading all of the excuses on Monday morning.

I thought Grossman was going to be exposed.

Oh wait - wasn't he exposed in GB?

Weather in Chicago on Sunday is supposed to be nasty. As a spectator that does not care who wins I am hoping for a snow storm. It would make the game that much more fun to watch.

:football: Of course I'd rather be sitting in the snow than the rain, so let it snow!!!!!

So tell me how Duhhhh Bearssssss are playing any better?
Dec. 31st-

Green Bay 26

Chicago 7

Dec. 24th

Chicago 26

Detroit 21

Duhhhh Bearsssss had to score 9pts in the 4th Qtr to escape with a win.

Dec. 17th

Chicago 34

Tampa Bay 31

Duhhhh Bearsssss had to kick a field goal in OT after giving up 21pts in the 4th Qtr to escape with a win.

Yep, Duhhhh Bearsssss are playing some steallr ball in December and look ready to rip it up.
One n' Done :bye:

Yikes, I think I'd be careful on this one. I mean, any team that played the EASIEST schedule in the league this past season is in pretty good position to "be exposed" come playoff time.

I still think that Bears win this game, but their defense hasn't played like a top defense for the past month, Jekyl could show up at QB and fluke wins seem to have some weird way of propelling teams throughout the playoffs. And I wouldn't underestimate the difference that Alexander will make versus when they played earlier in the season.

I hope you are right (as a Bears fan) but I have Zero confidence that we are going to win this game. The defense has not been the same since Tommie has been out of the lineup, and though we have still played very well against the run in that time, teams (SL, Detroit, Tampa and I don't even count GB) have lit us up in the passing game. To me the best thing that could happen is a blizzard (which I understand is possible) to negate some of what those receivers bring to the table. I am not feeling good about this game at all, but I am certainly hoping the Bears can win this one at home.

Who cares about this game. The NFC Championship game is being played in New Orleans on Saturday night.

If a coach is exposed this Sunday, my money is on another Lions assistant coach! They like to be exposed.

The worst team left in the playoffs is gonna get exposed? They were 9-7. No one thinks they're that good to begin with. Makes it hard to get "exposed".

It's okay GRID. I understand. I feel the same way about my Seahawks right now. We're not playing very well either. Those feelings of mistrust and uncertainty are natural. We all have our own way of coping. This is just the way you choose to handle it.

It'll be okay, bro.

:thumbdown:funny stuffGRID, I love how you never let up with your Bear fandom & homerism. I am optimistic about the Bears, but maybe a bit more realistic than you in that I always have this fear that somehow they'll find a way to screw it up. Although I do believe that this is the Bears game to lose.Too bad this matchup couldn't have been last years championship :goodposting: .. it should have been.

Nice one Dr. Shick!I think you pretty much nailed it....

Grid....when are you going to learn? Bears fan should unite and put a ban for Grid's posts before big games. I seem to remember a post exactly like this before the Panthers game last year. Why can't we let our team do the talking, and leave the thread jinx to other teams. Football Gods do not look down kindly upon threads like this, and I blame you if the Bears lose this week.

Regarding the Bears play in December.

They had the playoffs locked up. They were resting banged up defenders. End of story.

The Seahawks didn't have that luxury, yet they backed right into the playoffs and this week's game.

Bears beat San Fran 41-10 right?

San Fran SWEPT Seattle by running all over them.

Expect more of the same this Sunday. A healthy dose of Benson, T-Jones, Benson, T-Jones, etc. etc.

According to the local weatherman (Tom Skilling) you won't have snow for the game. Not until Sunday night.

It will be even more amazing when they beat the bears this weekend.

Listen up Slappy.. I simply was pointing out the players the Bears were resting (while going 4-1 in December) - then pointed out who was missing. Injuries are part of the game. We'll play without two of our best defenders the rest of the season (Mike Brown and Tommie Harris). ...and we'll have NO problem wiping the turf of Soldier Field with the collective arrses of the Seattle Seahags.
