That's a pretty radical sentiment. Perhaps we should consider segregating you from society.Sounds reasonable to me.

Clearly, the one who sniffs bicycle seats should be escorted to the nearest re-education camp, no?Sorry never heard of him. ShrugMaybe a basic course on US history would help.Who is this guy and why whould i care
If ignorance were the standard there'd be more people inside camps than outside camps. That's a pretty radical sentiment. Perhaps we should consider segregating you from society.Sounds reasonable to me.

Ignorance, and a lack of basic internet search skills. And being able to type "Wikipedia" into a search engine.Excellent point! Not only reasonable, but logical as well.If ignorance were the standard there'd be more people inside camps than outside camps. That's a pretty radical sentiment. He got 3% of the primary vote when he ran.I imagine if Wesley Clark wasn't a Democrat this thread would be pushing 50 posts by now.
And? Point? He still ran in a Democratic primary. He got 3% of the primary vote when he ran.I imagine if Wesley Clark wasn't a Democrat this thread would be pushing 50 posts by now.
It's stupid thing for him to say, regardless of his party. It's shame too because he seemed like a decent guy when he ran. And? Point? How can you be so gullible as to believe any of these war-mongering statist tools are decent guys? It's stupid thing for him to say, regardless of his party. He seemed a decent guy in person too. I met him at a Pasadena area fundraiser for a local Democratic congressional candidate in 2008 (IIRC) where he spoke for about 10 minutes, took some questions and then mixed with the crowd for pictures. I can't remember specifically what he said, but I recall (as a progressive) not being in agreement with his positions on the Middle East, as he was certainly right of center for a Democrat. He was, however, quite personable when I spoke to him briefly. It's stupid thing for him to say, regardless of his party. It's shame too because he seemed like a decent guy when he ran. And? Point? Why do you think that?I imagine if Wesley Clark wasn't a Democrat this thread would be pushing 50 posts by now.
They're all the same. Some may have nuts. Others sprinkles. But they're all still junk food. What a bizzarro interview. A democrat saying something that a republican would say on a liberal new stations.
The following morning, Sunday 13 June, Clark arrived at Jackson's HQ at Skopje. It was pointed out to him that the Russians were isolated and could not be reinforced by air and that Russian support had been a vital part of getting a peace agreement. Antagonising them would only be counterproductive. Clark refused to accept this and continued to order the runway blocked, claiming to be supported by the UN Secretary General. Jackson refused to enforce Clark's orders, reportedly telling him "I'm not going to start the Third World War for you."
He decided to run a campaign for president -- as a DEM -- because he found Bush and Condi inadequately warmongering. His only politics are war and oil. Guy's a Cheney-level psychopath.I would remind everyone that this is the same man who ordered NATO forces to seize by force a Kosovo airfield held by Russian and Serbian troops in 1999. Fortunately, his orders were disobeyed.

That link specifies that Clark mentioned only "radicalized Muslims". Realizing that "radicalized Muslims" would be impossible to identify in advance pretty much every time ... does Clark get something of a pass for his comments? As opposed to him saying "all Muslims belong in camps"?Hillary under fire for Wesley Clark's role as a campaign surrogate for Hillary

He becomes the Democratic nominee for president. If not sure how I feel about Clark's comments. If someone reports an American who tweets support for ISIS and that the American government should be overthrown, what happens to him now?

Clark later said his comments were mischaracterized and that he was “for separating people who have made dangerous decisions from the rest of society.”
"My comments from last July were not directed at any religion or faith but in response to a question about ISIS recruitment inside the United States," Clark said in a statement Thursday evening. "The persecution of Muslim Americans is intolerable. I reject any proposal to inter anyone on account of his or her religion. I am troubled by the reaction, from some, to those comments and regret any misunderstanding."
