Twitter must be worried about lawsuits as these are very popular but they aren't trending at all.

"Okay, your four choices for President are as follows:

A reality TV show host whose companies have multiple bankruptcies,

A religious fanatic who had at least five affairs and got his PAC to pay someone off who knew

A former Secretary of State currently being investigated by a dedicated team of 100 FBI agents

A Jewish former carpenter who wants to make sure everyone gets education and healthcare

Who should drop out first?"
Sounds familiar.

Which thread is everyone talking about this fool being mathematically eliminated from the nomination and then still introducing his vice-president candidate? What a disaster this guy is. I hate him more everyday.

If Ted Cruz wanted to be nominated as Trump's VP, doesn't he have the delegates to make that happen?  I don't think he would want it but I'm surprised I haven't seen the possibility discussed.

Yeah, and just think what this says about Carly Fiorina.

She said that the "majority of Republicans" do not want Trump as president.  Where did she acquire her data?  Street corner in Kansas somewhere?

Cruz is a monster, he's basically the equivalent of a Sub-Saharan Africa general planning a coup de etat except Cruz has no troops behind him (sans the Idaho militia).

Um, Trump is well on his way to a GOP primary record for most votes.

I mentioned this several months back as a compromise.  However, the party rules on nominating a VP being binding are really nebulous.  The reality is the electoral college picks the VP so whomever the GOP ultimately nominates means nothing.  They could nominate Cruz and Trump could still get Ventura elected VP if he submits the name.

" Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector. "

There is absolutely nothing in there that says that it has to go with the party, then in the 12th amendment

" The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and all persons voted for as Vice-President and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate. "

Goes on to say

" The person having the greatest number of votes as Vice-President, shall be the Vice-President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed, and if no person have a majority, then from the two highest numbers on the list, the Senate shall choose the Vice-President; a quorum for the purpose shall consist of two-thirds of the whole number of Senators, and a majority of the whole number shall be necessary to a choice. But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States "

So you could say that if the GOP forced a VP on Trump, he could bypass this and run with his own VP and ultimately the Senate would be able to pick the VP.

Even with 3 candidates, he got a majority in all 5 states on Tuesday. It's obviously a little more difficult to get a "majority" when there are 9 candidates.

Pretty funny since you started this little brawl, putz. Glad that kook Higgs agrees with you, shows your level of incompetence. :bye:
I dont feel like adding up the numbers, but at a quick glance it appears culdeus is correct. What am I missing here?

Just watching this idiot on Meet the Press. God he's abhorrent. Todd asked him 9 times if he'd support Trump if he wins the nomination and 9 times Cruz evaded the question. Weaselly, despicable, creepy piece of ####.

I was thinking the exact same thing.  HTF did that weasel get elected to anything?  I legit would vote for Trump over this goon.

I'd cut off my own #### & balls before I'd vote for Trump, but Cruz is a special brand of turd. Throw in Hillary and there's never been a more punchable group of candidates for president ever.

Agreed, worst group ever.  Why do we suck so bad at picking political leaders?

With the final Obama WH correspondents dinner last night I came to a realization that one of these turds will be attempting comedy in a year. Could you imagine Cruz at the podium wisecracking? Picture his Simpsons "impressions" if you need help.

Or this: http://gawker.com/ted-cruz-should-probably-just-stop-telling-jokes-1751815671

Guess Trump could do his awesome facial expressions and bing-bing-bing his way through it. https://heavyeditorial.files.wordpress.com/2015/09/trump-manson-resize.gif

Hillary, Bernie, Kasich, Rubio, Jeb (Please Laugh), Fiorina, Carson -- NONE of those people are capable of humor.

Cruz reminds me of the warden in Shawshank.

Hate these three candidates so much.  Guess I'll be voting Gary Johnson again.
