What are you drinking tomorrow? (1 Viewer)

My wife is handling the driving duties and I'm gonna get hammered. Debating beer/liquor - it's a long day with lots of food and I can't make a decision here. Maybe some afternoon liquor and evening beer.

Going to the store in a little while and need to decide.

What's your drinking like on Thanksgiving (brand/quantity)?

Probably a barrel aged stout, maybe a 2013 KBS for the Lions. Whatever wine my in-laws pull out of the cellar for dinner and Blantons neat to close it out.

I am not a big drinker any more but I normally have a few on Thanksgiving. There will be the annual shot of bourbon after flag football in the morning. At dinner, I will probably have a beer. After dinner while watching football, I will either stick with beer or go to bourbon on the rocks.

Will probably have red wine or brandy. Thanksgiving food is not subtle and I will nibble throughout the day, so will stay away from my usual gin/scotch/tequila go-tos. No need to pair high-end liquor tomorrow.

Thinking about it, brandy is probably the best play.

Picking up a couple of bottles of Pinot Noir for dinner, always go Oregon over California brands. If I go with anything other than wine, probably vodka and soda and then perhaps mix in a couple of beers (IPA).

2015 William Larue Weller for a celebratory toast with my pop and brother.

Then Weller 12yr for most of the day. May downshift to Memphis Made Fireside Ninja at some point.

Absinthe with breakfast.

Early game : Everclear with a splash of prune juice.

Second game : Laudanum and ginger ale.

Late game : Homemade moonshine, which is actually just nail polish remover in a mason jar, but don't tell my family.

We had Thanksgiving at my folks house today - finished off the Knob Creek. We host my wife's family tomorrow so I'll be drinking the entire liquor cabinet.

Plan on drinking shots of 151 between all of that????

I want to hit the local beer pub and see if they would fill a growler with some Against the Grain Jackale. Barrel aged brown ale. Delicious

Probably doing a Wisconsin thing tomorrow with New Glarus beers then a few Od Fashioneds then some PBR while bowling before the packer bear game.

Having dinner at my house, starting the day with cheap coffee, then drinking cheap beer when football starts. Folgers + Bud Light.

Picked up a couple of bottles of 2012 Montebruno Pinot Noir from the Eola-Amity Hills region of Oregon for myself and a bottle of Mark West Pinot for my wife's family

Just got 4 BC Stouts, now to try and score some of the other BC releases. I really want to get the Rye.
