Free time.

To spend with my son, my wife, doing things that give me great pleasure (I have many interests and hobbies). I work smart/hard to buy as much free time as I can for today and the future. We are here and we have a clock and we don't know when time will be up.

Spending free time. That is when I am most happy.

:goodposting: up above. All about my time and how I get to use it.

My wife, cats, family, streaming, gaming groups. I'm really fortunate.

Seeing my kids learn, thrive, their joy at life.

My wife. She's a remarkable woman who I completely and unequivocally trust and respect.

Golf. I love golfing.

Seeing my kids handle their mother's and my divorce like pros.  While the decision to divorce ultimately was the right call, you can't help but wonder, "Please tell me I'm not effing up my kids."  Sometimes I think I dodged a bullet on that.

Oh...and beer.

I don't take for granted how lucky I am to have a healthy and happy life. I enjoy it while I can. I'm always trying to learn new things, always trying to do some creative things and just soak in the gift of life we are given. There's nothing better than a weekend upon us and looking forward to spending a fun few days with my amazing wife. We have multiple great vacations planned every year or even just spending the day in our backyard, grilling and drinking and listening to music. In a few years we'll retire and enjoy even more time together. But I don't want to rush it.

Guys night out

These days.. Sleep. I have two small children and the youngest is a horrible sleeper.  I can now honestly see where sleep deprivation is a legit form of torture.

Nobody's happy, ok!? Happiness comes in small doses folks. It's a cigarette, or a chocolate cookie, or a five second orgasm. That's it, ok! You cum, you eat the cookie, you smoke the butt, you go to sleep, you get up in the morning and go to ####### work, ok!? That is it! End of ####### list!

Sex.  Not kidding.  Nothing like having a wife you find very sexy after 20 years bent over the bathroom vanity.

Helping others. Ultimately things that get me out of "self".

That feeling right between the time the bass has taken your plastic worm and the time you give him the steel.

Sleeping with the windows open and the breeze flowing.

A wild turkey creeping up on your decoy.

The curve of my wife's #### as I drift off to sleep.

Good meals with friends.

Seeing my son mature and become a man.

Finishing a good book.

A nice walk in the woods with my dog.

Misery and suffering bring me the most happiness

*********

"Did you know that the first Matrix was designed to be a perfect human world where none suffered, where everyone would be happy? It was a disaster. No one would accept the program. Entire crops were lost. Some believed that we lacked the programming language to describe your "perfect world". But I believe that, as a species human beings define their reality through misery and suffering. So the perfect world was a dream that your primitive cerebrum kept trying to wake up from." (Agent Smith, The Matrix)

1.  Excelling at stuff.  Be that a trial, a softball game, a golf round, fantasy football, whatever.  I love to do well.  I don't even need to win but if I do well I'm super happy.  Inversely, if I'm not excelling at stuff I'm pretty unhappy.

2.  Wife.  She's my best friend.

3.  Doesn't really apply anymore, but getting a girl to want to sleep with me made me pretty damn happy.

4.  Good food and drink.

Do you consider yourself naturally talented or just hard working?

Generally pretty happy. The feeling before a good vacation. Golfing with friends. Watching a good game. The wife. Perfectly stroked 3 to win the morning work pickup game. Fantasy sports :nerd: . Drinks with friends. Good movie/tv. Hiking.

Wife, Dog, Golf and other sports, good weather, video games, intellectually stimulating things like puzzles or reading.
