What do you do when you hate your team (redraft) (1 Viewer)

QB- Dalton and Foles (drafted stafford, traded him and CJ Anderson for Lacy)

RB- Lynch, Lacy, A Foster, D Lewis, F Jax, Starks, C Mike, Josh Robinson, C Mike

WR- Hopkins, Landry, A Robinson, M Wallace, Perriman (just dropped T Lockett)

TE- Eifert (dropped Ebron who I drafted)

Td, chiefs and K j brown
I was expecting a 10 bagger. What's so bad about this?
just doesn't seem to be consistent enough. Not deep enough, especially at WR. Lots of questions.

Enough people asked which leads me to think they are interested. If the kids want to move to AC, I uunderstand.

It is really an issue of not being able to keep up with the top couple of teams bc I don't have the consistent WRs. Add to that the fact that I traded woodhead and Gates for eifert and just last week traded matt Jones and Steve Smith for Mike Wallace (serious regret) and it bums me out.

I will also say that for the past 7 years or so, I played the zero RB strategy. My recievers were always studs but I got burned out trying to guess which ww RB was going to hit. So I went RB-RB this year. Results are meh

I don't really see this as a bad roster?

If you don't like your WR then why not try trading Lynch for a better one?

I don't think you need Michael on your team twice. How did you do that? :P

Lockett is closer to playing that Perriman no?

The trade for Mike Wallace was kind of bad. Just learn from it what you can. You can't have that one back. Wallace may actually be useful depending on how many WR you start.

I think you have some good back up RB that can allow you to sell off Lynch but I would try to keep Lacy. Especially since you already have Starks.

If you just don't like some of these players for whatever reason. Try to trade them for players of similar value that you do like instead.

I can't tell if this guy is serious and says his team isn't good or if he is on the down low tryna brag. Everything is good besides his WR's. I would try and move lynch as i like lacy more. Lynch should have a good week this week and chicago then move him for a WR or 2. if you believe cooks, Evans, Jeffrey or people like them who are under performing you can easily swing a 2 for 1 deal.

This is my 21st year playing magic football and it used to be all consuming - now the only thing I really enjoy is the draft to hang out with the guys I have known since high school. So for years like this when things aren't going well - not a big deal, try to field a competitive lineup each week despite injuries, set the lineup and don't even check the scores until Tuesday morning. Not going to lie, when things are going well I still fall into the pattern of watching the scores all day especially later in the season - but the game is so much less stressful when it is not an obsession. Years like this make it easy not to be obsessive. Drafting Dez and Romo made it easy this year.

You have 4 of the top 16 RB, 3 top 24 WRs and a top 3 TE. Unless you are in a 6 team league, you are in good shape. I have no idea what you are whining about.

First Off,, Scoring n Lineup Reg's is what makes everything relative...

Im just gonna toss out some info, that maybes worth hearing and/or Thankfully ya havnt considered lol

I know ya said QB is troublesome, but I kinda like Dalton.. Hopefully he can start utilizing all his healthy weapons.

(imo) Foles is expendable enough for the risk of streaming the right QB (if need be)

The RB's appear quite strong (thinking start 2 / 1 flex) Lynch Lacy Lewis and eventually Foster!

Can ya flip any of the other backs? I mean Id really almost like to see ya rostering a guy like Rookie DaVante Parker.. He could hit Or catch fire w/ Landry sidelined or something

I mean I can appreciate rostering FJax, because you do own Beast-mode But, would ya really play a backup over a healthy Foster?

Now obviously, you must keep X amt rostered, so lets not go overboard on anything! (little goes a long way)

I like the Chiefs Def, and I see Eifferts name thrown around from time to time

Kickers can be streamed effectively too (you know this)

Now after ya have absorbed some of the real positive info, and taken the time to sleep on some suggestions, and what not? Id like ya to attempt to set your lineup.. But then do me a favor, and bounce your lineup off of Evan Silvias week 3 matchup.. :2cents:

He can put out badd juju too! Don't start flaming plz.. I would just like ya to review his reasoning's etc.

Hopkins is most likely your WR1 (unless ya have return yds,, Landry!) And from this blurb it instills confidence in starting your Stud (Captain Obvious)

While Ryan Mallett's to-date performance remains thoroughly unimpressive, I do think he makes for a cheap and intriguing DFS tournament stack with DeAndre Hopkins versus Tampa Bay. Mallett has hit or topped 30 pass attempts in each of his three starts under O'Brien, including 58 last week. Through two games, the Bucs rank 22nd in pass-defense DVOA with a 68.5% completion rate and 5:1 TD-to-INT ratio allowed. Mallett is in play as a QB1 streamer

Same story w/ your RB1

Since 2012, Lynch has 37 touchdowns across 32 home games versus 19 TDs in 31 road affairs. The road-away splits were as stark as ever last year, as Lynch hit pay dirt 12 times with a 112-total-yard average in eight home games. He managed five TDs and 97 yards a game on the road.

p.s. Don't forget Set your lineup, then review! It should make you research @ at least one player.. (One player can make the difference)

HOU - WR DeAndre Hopkins has concussion

Source: Houston Chronicle - John McClain

Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins (concussion) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 23.

This is not a great sign for Hopkins availability. He'll have to go through the league's concussion protocol before returning to the field. Check back to see if he's cleared before the team's game on Sunday against the Buccaneers.

Fix the QB and you'll be ok. Actually you can just pick up the best QB each week off the WW with the easiest schedule and you'll be OK.

HOU - WR DeAndre Hopkins with a probable tag

Source: HoustonTexans.com

Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins (concussion) practiced in full Friday, Sept. 25, and is probable for Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

You can safely plug him into your lineups, but know that Hopkins will likely get a lot of attention until the Texans offense becomes functional.

SEA - RB Marshawn Lynch a game-time decision

Source: NFL Network

Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch (calf) has a calf issue and will be a game-time decision in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears, according to head coach Pete Carroll.

Fred Jackson would be an easy high RB2 start if Lynch is out and UDFA rookie Thomas Rawls would also see some action.

(imo) Green Bays Ty Montgomery, is another guy you should be following closely

It's too early to tell first off, but week two gave many of us chances to buy low on lots of players that wouldn't have been available weeks ago.

One strategy would be to stack. Buy low on an entire offense. Luck is "available." Get him, pair with TY and Gore.. Chip Kelly and his system that made everyone on the team a top-10 option predraft are rightfully being dropped. Gamble and go all in(I wouldn't, just an example). Get Wilson and Jimmy. Whatever.. It's an option that hadn't been presented.
Very interesting. Only downside is that if he's already 0-2, he'll likely be guaranteed a loss during that specific's team bye week putting him in a 0-3 hole. But at the same time it gives him a leg up during other weeks so it's definitely an intriguing suggestion.
It's more of an 0-4, 1-5 kind of move. At 0-2 I should still be optimistic.

I'm 0-2-1, lost last night by one point and tied the week before. Is it too early to blow it up?? I feel like I lost out on all the early big waiver adds by holding onto guys like J.Bell, Algohor, and Parker and now I'm stuck in last with a mediocre team. I've won the league 4 out of 5 seasons and obviously won't stop working the wire..but man it's depressing.

I would say if you can get something of value back, go for it

Good luck

Ouch I thought of that while writing about WR too..

Lets hope some Guru has some solid advice.. This is a start one QB L:eague right?
I dont want to get into specifics on my team. Was really just seeing if people said screw it, Im out or was there another way to enjoy a down season
when my team is out of contention, I take great joy in beating teams that expect a free win from my team. Last year I beat someone in the last week and killed their playoff hopes. If I just said eff it, they would have gone to the playoffs unchallenged and the guy who they beat, out would hate me. Another thing I do when I start 0 and 2 is I try real hard to grab the hot waiver guys on Saturday a day before they go off. I got a few rbs1s that way in the past. Then you trade them for who you need.
