What happens when... (1 Viewer)

I am not "really" wishing death on Al, but he (to me) has single handely been responsible for how bad we have been ever since he forced out Gruden. The guy has got to be around 80ish and looks pretty bad, I guess the Emperor could use the Dark Force to stay alive for another 50 - 100 years but I am really hoping he doesn't.

I am a lifelong Raider fan, and I DO realize what Al has meant to the Raiders and to the NFL, however, he is clearly passed all the glory days and he now does a lot more harm than good. So when he does die, who takes over? Will they change the attitude and direction of the team? Do you think Al has been throwing around all this money trying for "one last SuperBowl push" knowing he may be near the end?

I do not mean for this to be a morbid post, I am truely curious what is going to happen when he dies.

Thanks for any insight anyone may have.

He does look bad but his mind still seems sharp. I just wish he'd hand over the team and become a fan. I read he owns 30% of the team. If true why doesn't someone retire him?

Al Davis will not die. He will come out of his tomb, wrapped in the white bandages of a corpse, order his lapdogs to draft a field goal kicker with his pick, and call obsolete plays down to a coach who was found working at WalMart as a greeter.
