What I have learned in 2 weeks of NFL Football 2012 (1 Viewer)

Julio only has 5 100 yard games and 10 TD's in his last 11 games btw.
How many did he have in his first 6?
I stated my case. What are you picking at? Do you need a link to his stats? He did force SEA and TB to put their best cb on him. And he did have three 100 yard games and 2 TD's while dealing with a nagging hammy.
I think Julio is a stud the problem being they have 2 stud WRs. So the other team can take away whatever WR they want and while both Roddy and Julio can beat most corners, why risk it when you can just throw to t he other with a weaker corner. It all depends upon who they take away. AJ Green will be like Calvin where he will get tons of attention and tons of catches b/c the team has to get him the ball. I think he'll be good but Julio provides more upside with Green probably more consistency.

Those who drafted Brady Rodgers and stafford are screwed.... They will run the ball a lot more than last year. Too many late round Qbs are exploding on a given week

You might be right but like I read somewhere else: guys that took Rodgers/Brady high might also have taken Spiller, Ridley, etc. later.I myself went Rodgers and then was thrilled (at the time) to get DMC in the second. I did take Ridley and Spiller so we'll see...How'd you like to be the guy drafting CJ no K or Forte round one? I'd take any of the top QBs.

Julio Jones is a fn freak.

AJ Green is overrated.
say what?
Yup. He's good but I've heard him mentioned in the Top 5 by Greg Cossell. That's bs.
Why? There are literally no other weapons in Cincy, the O-line is mediocre and Dalton is good but not great. And yet Green still puts up decent numbers and is a TD machine.Julio is excellent, but it certainly helps to have a Roddy White opposite you, a decent O-line, decent running game and a very good veteran WR.

I think it's unfair to compare them on numbers alone.
23 Target, 12 Catches, 128 yards, 1TD
10 catches, 122 yards, 2TD, Eleventy Billion drops ;)

Not a good week to be making your argument.

Agree to an extent here; but consider ...Four sure fire first rounders were off the table this year: ADP, MJD, Mathews, Charles ... maybe a stretch on Charles, but he was first round fodder just last year. With that gaping void, once the big 3 rb's and Calvin were gone ... why not? Think the guys who took CJno2K, McFadden,Forte are in much worse shape at this point. All things being equal, if the four rb's I alluded to entered the season with no question marks, then the first round looks a whole hell of a lot different, no?

After week 2, I feel that Football Outsiders may be wrong about a certain Bay Area team.
they actually thought that the Raiders were going to be good??
I think Florida Danny cooked numbers to motivate Harbaugh. ;)
you have a point though - like they said in the book, they went through 1500 words praising Harbaugh, then they reversed course and said that the 49ers would decline. So far, I can't tell.

The 49ers would have to suffer some major injuries to be a 8-9 win team, like Gore, Justin Smith, Vernon Davis, and even Alex Smith. Missing two of those impact players would definitely cost a game or two, but even then they could still go 10-6 at the least.

I'll stick with the team I know best:

The Eagles defense is for real. They probably have the deepest DL in the game and will be bringing pressure all game. The LB corp is much improved with Ryan and Kendrick. DRC should make the Pro Bowl this year and Brandon Boykin is a good slot guy. The Birds are still weak at safety.

Offensively, the offensive line is atrocious. They have no LT, now no C. Things could get ugly on this side of the ball.

Yea I'm trading him and Calvin Johnson as fast as I can.
