What if Favre would demand his release from the Jets? (1 Viewer)

The Packers think the Favre saga is behind them and they are happy he didn't end up in their divison. But what if Favre would turn the tables on the Packers and try to get the last laugh.

I know that if the Jets trade Favre to the Vikings the Jets owe GB three first round picks. But what if Favre signs with the Jets and then next week demands to be released or he would refuse to play. What if he says that he is going to continue being a distraction until they release him?

The Jets would be out a 4th round pick. But would they be out anything else if they were forced to release Favre because he refused to play and was a distraction?

Favre would then get his wish and could sign with Minnesota..........

I would love to see this happen..........

I hate to even respond to this but I guess I will.

I think Favre is basically stuck now. Green Bay has granted his wish and traded him. Goodell wanted and end to this and we are at that point. Favre can now go play for the Jets or retire. I guess the Jets now would hold his rights for the duration of his contract.

Quit bringing up these wild what ifs. This is pretty much a done deal at this point. Favre will either play for the Jets or retire. If he really wants to play like he said he will be in camp soon.

The idea of Favre playing for the Vikings is dead.
