Our league has been played in NFL.com for years but this year it changed I guess because cbs sportsline and Nfl.com split up. I didnt care much for the result, I have also played in Yahoo leagues before and wasnt that thrilled. I like good graphics and a variety of point systems to choose from.

What do you recommend for next season?

second for MFL

complete customization can be a bit scary at first, it really is easy and the best part is CHEAP.

Love MFL, and I will always use it, but I will never understand why they don't spend the necessary money to update the interface.

www.fleaflicker.com is my fav... and its not close (though ive never used MFL cause i dont like paying for what i can get for free).

its free, with free live scoring and a free iphone app (espn charges for theirs).

its decently customizable (hasnt been able to not do anything ive needed of it), and its very basic...

has a very good live drift app that has never once locked up on me in three years of drafting with it.

The auto draft is smart and will draft on need AND BPA and their projections are excelent.

there is minimal advertisement for a free site, and there are built in analytic tools/stats to help with the WW and matchups on a weekly basis (though they take a bit of getting used to).

my .02

:lmao: On target here. I would pay CBS prices for Fleaflicker. The fact that they're free is amazing.

RT Sports remains my favorite provider at a fair price. Less than $10/man for a ten team league; even better for my 12-teamer. Very customizeable for us commissioners and fairly solid reporting for GMs interested in digging in to player performance and stats. Finally, I have never, ever had an issue with RT's live scoring. Ever. I've even seen the mighty sites crash often on live scoring.

ETA: I really like CBS's interface. I really HATE CBS's advertisements and I cannot stand their "experts". One last thing I really like about RTS is very little advertising. I have no problem sifting through ads on ESPN when they're a free site (and a very solid offering); I have no interest in being overloaded with crap when I pay over $100 for a league to play on CBS. No thanks.

Count me as a supporter of MFL.com.

My league switched to MFL from CBS 6 years ago and we have never looked back. Lots of freedom, plenty of room to customize, well worth the modest fee ($7.50 per owner).

Played in leagues on Yahoo, ESPN, NFL.com over the years... junk.

Lots of good with fleaflicker. The one problem I had with them is their injury status rules. Gates was out / inactive in week 9 on Sunday gameday, which led up to their week 10 bye week. But because his official status for the Friday injury report was "questionable", he was not eligible of the IR over that entire time. Reason I was given was some BS about the Friday injury report being the only "official" report on the players status.

We've been using RTS for 3 years now. I love it but there are some shortcomings:

1) Draft software is not the best

2) Their web application design for picking up players off the wire is pretty flawed. It takes forever to load the page and it locks up your browser until it's done; I've complained to them for 3 years and no fix

3) Their player injury alerts are weak. It's hard to tell if players are injured and I would never trust the site to give accurate info.

That said, I love the rest of the site. I've never played MFL but RTS is better than most out there. It's very custimizable too.
