I tried to tell everyone 2 weeks ago that they aren't as good this year.

The loss of rich brahm (spelling) our center is hurting our passing game and our running game.
Our o-line is not holding nearly as well as last year. Palmer looks tentative in the pocket and has overthrown and underthrown a lot of balls this year.
Our run defense is awful. Losing odell thurman for the year as well as pollack is hurting us.
Not having Chris Henry hurts our offensive, since he is an awesome third wr.
We haven't been running the ball enough.

Agreed, but add in the loss of Pollack, Dexter Jackson, Chris Perry and Rashard Jeanty to your list. Injuries and suspensions; plain and simple. Getting Chris Perry back should help the offense more than people realize. I hope to see him in the next game vs. Carolina.

Getting Perry back will be nice, but it's not going to fix the O-line and run defense problems.

Perry provides an excellent check-down option. I think he will help a lot on third down in helping extend drives. It should open up the offense a bit imo. The pass blocking wasn't as bad today with the exception of a few plays late in the game. Good point though on the D....actually the D as a whole. Dexter Jackson helps, but this is still a D with holes for sure.

Simmons missing the game was the killer. The LB corps is completely depleted. They had to start Miller, Brooks and Johnson today. They are just not going to win with the LB play they are getting.If Levi Jones and Braham are out next week the Carolina DL is going to have the Bengals OL for lunch.

Why is that? Rudi is one of the better RBs in the league. I've watched Bengal games where he was just tearing it up in the 1st half and then disappears in the second half.

Lets be honest here- Rudi Johnson and Chad Johson both suck. Pure and simple. Add to the fact that the offensive line is in complete shambles (where is the guy that was tauting this OL as the BEST in the NFL) and the roster is loaded with nothing but wanna be gang bangers and you have the Bungles all over again. I hope that you have enjoyed the 2005 season because that was about it for this team. Enjoy the silence of Chad Johnson.....

Over their past three games, two of which they lost, opponents ran for 532 yards and averaged 5.1 yards a carry. Now the Bengals face Carolina and Atlanta. Good luck.

Preach on brotha! CJ is grossly overrated due to his dancing. I guess a lot of FF geeks aspire to be dancers. I doubt most people could even tell you Harrison's jersey #. But CJ? Who dey 85! go 85! Dance it up 85!*lol*I don't think Rudi is overrated or bad. The guy works his butt off, produces, doesn't say much. He's pretty much the ideal starting RB if you ask me. Hate to say it but seems like the Shark Pool is filled with short term players any more. Guys/teams that have 2-3 bad games have their previous body of work forgotten. CJ has led the AFC in receiving yards the past 3 years. Say what you want about him but he's hardly overrated. As for the Bengals...what team doesn't have holes? Indy has huge holes in their run D...it will be exposed sooner or later and cost them dearly too.

What? They're 3-2, a half game back of the division lead, lost to a very good New England Patriots team at home and a Bucs team that looks like it has finally found its quarterback and was itching for a win. Two bad losses but in no way are they reason to write this team off.We're missing Pollack and Thurman from last year, and I believe Simmons was out yesterday as well. The anchor of our OLine is out right now, so some protection problems are expected. We're having some injury problems but in no way do we suck. Plain and simple, we were in yesterday's game until the final seconds and we were in it with NE until Palmer started fumbling every down. Definitely not time to panic yet--the stillers and ravens don't look any better.

Name of the thread- What is up w/Cincy. One of the differences between last year's team and this year's team- Chad Johnson and Rudi Johnson are not getting it done. You don't score you lose games. Reality check around these parts. These guys are sucking fumes right now. TB is on of the lousiest team in the league and the Bungles had the bye week to toss this clinker in the outhouse?
