Between Kit Kat and Crunch for me

I choose Good & Plenty by default on moral grounds.

The chocolate in all the others is provided from slave labor of children in Africa and as such we should boycott its use.

My favorite candy on the list is Reese's...

...but I don't really think of any of these as Halloween candy, with the exception of candy corn. My favorite actual Halloween candy would be those peanut butter kisses in the orange and black wrappers.

:goodposting: Ugh, those things are horrible! Never understood how anyone could eat those. Them, and Good & Plenty.Gimme a bag full of snack-size Snickers and I'm a happy man.

If I pick Hershey's Miniatures, do I get all the varieties? Because Krackle is a helluva drug.

No idea why it's only available in the assortments. I'd eat those things in giant bars.

those are just candy bars... not really halloween candy. need pixie sticks on the list imo. halloween is the only time you ever see straight sugar in a straw as a snack option.

that said, almond joy or mounds might get votes from me. halloween is the only time i really eat them and I tend to eat half of them I'm supposed to be passing out on halloween night.

OK..Almond Joy is out. Candy Corn in..go for it!
noooooooo Almond Joy is mine....WHY!!!!!!!!!!!
Got a PM that said everybody hates Almond Joy and to ax it. Sorry
What a nonsense PM. I would've voted for Almond Joy. Or Starburst, but that's not on the list either.Grudgingly settled for Twix.

Somehow, I was completely unaware of this. Doing a 2 minute google search provided enough information and sad facts to kill all cravings I have for chocolate.
children who are forced to labour and undergo severe abuse, that some children are held forcibly on farms and work up to 100 hours per week, and that attempted escapees are beaten. It quoted a former slave: "The beatings were a part of my life" and "when you didn't hurry, you were beaten."
children from Sikasso, Mali, were believed sold as slaves;[12] 15,000 children from Mali, some under age 11, were producing cocoa in the Cote d'Ivoire.[12] Mali's Save the Children Fund director described "young children carrying 6 kg of cocoa sacks so heavy that they have wounds all over their shoulders."
5% of me wants to hate you, Chaka, for bringing this to my attention. The other 95% loves you for bringing this to my attention.

Really? Those are like the dregs of Halloween candy. Never get eaten and only given out by cheap old people.

I can dig it. Felt the same way when it was brought to my attention. It's a sad reality.I hope more people follow you're lead or explain to me why it's okay to support this type of forced labor, which is separate and distinct from the reality that many children in Africa, and around the world, need to work to survive.

Is it all chocolate coming from slave labor? I hope not because I need to figure out the right chocolate to gorge on this year. TIA

Flawed poll - Reese's Peanut Butter Cup or Reese's Pieces?

Love the Peanut Butter Cups, only like the Reese's Pieces.

Real question is how many bags of candy are you plowing through right now, over a week ahead of Halloween?

Been just mowing down Kit Kats and Butterfingers at a ridiculous pace.Kit Kat is the best for the official record.

Through post- trick or treating Halloween trading, I once converted 3/4 of my stash to Reese's PB Cups. Couldn't believe my sucker siblings and friends would take things like Tootsie Rolls for them.

In my old age, Kit Kats are growing on me. Not quite caught up to Reese's, but gaining.
