The crazy thing is the Star Wars theme is barely a top 3 track from Star Wars even. Imperial March and the little Jedi tune they play whenever Jedi does something super Jedi just elicit goosebumps every time, and for me would be tied for 1st overall from him.

Say what you want about the prequels, but the scene at the end of Attack of the Clones where Palpatine looks over his new clone army and it plays the Imperial March tune for the first time during the prequel saga is an all-time great movie scene. And the music is like 80% of the reason why.

So many iconic themes.

Jaws

Which ironically as a wide eyed 5 year old I heard in the movies as my parents got me started with horror films young.

The entire soundtrack is brilliant.

It literally made the movie fantastic itself.

It was so very hard to choose.

the body of work is simply astounding, i was able to stand behind the podium at Universal Studios where Williams and the orchestra did so many scores. Pretty cool.

Even more cool were the sound rooms, where acrobats run around like crazy using various tools and props to create the sounds used in movies. The room is basically filled with junk, and these totally fit dudes run around for an hour creating the sound for the entire film. Those keys jingling ... not likely keys. Tires screeching ... not tires. They use all kinds of crap to create sounds.

Really is- on par with the great composers of the past such as Wagner, Dvorak or Chopin.

Thanks for bringing back this thread. So much fun!

I voted for Superman 8 years ago when I set this up. But I think now I’d go with Raiders.
