My wife walked down the aisle in our ceremony to Aria in D, played by a massive pipe organ. If I ever bought an air conditioned strip joint, I would call it Air on the G String

Satie, DScarlatti's sonatas on piano & Bill Evans' solo piano work constitute 3/4 of the music i listen to anymore and 95% of what i write to.I went to a wedding recently that had the best wedding band I've ever seen. During the meal, a guitar player played quietly in the background and at one point did an amazing version of Erik Satie's Gymnopedie No 1: One of my favorites and was really blown away by his version.
that's like 173% and three quarters.Satie, DScarlatti's sonatas on piano & Bill Evans' solo piano work constitute 3/4 of the music i listen to anymore and 95% of what i write to.
I thought the stuff you write here was accompanied by Cecil Taylor's cats humping on the keyboardSatie, DScarlatti's sonatas on piano & Bill Evans' solo piano work constitute 3/4 of the music i listen to anymore and 95% of what i write to.

Woody Allen's sex jamMendehlsson - Symphony No. 4 in A, Op. 90, Salatrello, Presto is a particularly fine piece of music.
Presto!
I honestly don't get it.Woody Allen's sex jam
there's an actual meaning to that?! now i don't get it.I honestly don't get it.
Oh wow, I just looked that up. Interesting. Allen is an interesting guy, to say the least.
I googled Allen and Mendehlsson and A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy came up in the results. And often. You know more than you think, wikkid. You're at one with the collective subconscious.there's an actual meaning to that?! now i don't get it.
those words just popped into my head when i read your post cuz i know Allen loves the M4 like Alex did LvB9 and the presto's always had a Benny Hill feel to me
Bolero. Now I want to pose the question, what classical piece would be your bedroom jam?
sharp turns, stamping of the feet, and sudden pauses in a position with one arm arched over the head. Very nice.Bolero.
Clair de Lune, hands down. Now I want to pose the question, what classical piece would be your bedroom jam?
It's just the 15 minutes that would pose the biggest hurdle. Not sure how effective it'd be starting 12 minutes in.sharp turns, stamping of the feet, and sudden pauses in a position with one arm arched over the head. Very nice.
Your soul is a delicate landscapeClair de Lune, hands down.
I have been working on a lyric to Clair de Lune for ten years and my dream in life is for the scrawl of it's final word to be my last act in life.. I could lick a dead polecat's third eye to Clair de Lune.
No way dude, I just made that up off the top of my head.that's the inspiration, not the lyric
more like lifeless moonI'm thinking something from the Planets- depending on the mood. Bringer of War? Winged Messenger?
Ahhh you mean Bringer of Old Agemore like lifeless moon
Mahler's 3rd Symphony in all its 100 minute of glory, although I'd be sleeping for about 99 minutesNow I want to pose the question, what classical piece would be your bedroom jam?
Dude, I remember one of your playlists of Spotify had the tagline "isn't it pretty to think so..." or something like that. It stuck with me for some reason, largely because it's a nice sentiment, and a six word little tagline for the six word draft (swear no stalker, and that was a good playlist). Anyway, I was reading The Sun Also Rises the other day and realized at the end of the book that it was the last bit of spoken dialogue, and the last line.No way dude, I just made that up off the top of my head.
my old arranger & i had known each other since the Prog Era. he smoked a prodigious amount of weed so, though i'm not a fan, even my social tokes during visits had us talking & giggling & wowing a lot more than doing. Our Opus Terribilus was always going to be a Planets-like rock opera on flight - pterodactyls to Montgolfier/Wright Bros tp WW1 dogfights to sound barrier etc etc to Voyager busting out of the solar system. alas, he stole from me so it is not to beAhhh you mean Bringer of Old Age
which I kind of like- this #### is going to take years off your life baby
Love it. That’s by far the best draft I ever had- all the songs work well together. And yes, I did take the tag line from Hemingway. The whole playlist was intended as something to listen to late at night while drinking and being heartbroken so that just struck me as a very Hemingway thing to do.Dude, I remember one of your playlists of Spotify had the tagline "isn't it pretty to think so..." or something like that. Good work.
Back to the classical music.
