What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (1 Viewer)

Anyone want to enlighten me regarding beers and being cold and shipping. I have some I would like to distribute to some iFriends (minus Gator).

Did the early session at the X-games then went and had lunch at the Red Car brewery near the event.

Have you noticed that if you drink 9% IPA's in the sun you get drunk quick then tired? :loco:

Had dinner at Town Hall. They were all out of Masala Mama :sadbanana: , but I had their Tripel Vision, SFO, and Summit Great Northern Porter on cask. Now I get to pack.

Of course. Beer snobs drink beer often, like to talk about their beer, and odds are drink that beer when they're sitting at home during the evening, probably when they're hanging out on FBG.The only shocking part about this thread is that it took until '04 to start it.

Stopped into Maine for the day to move some things back home..Picked up a couple Maine brews, Bar Harbor Thunder Hole Ale and Atlantic Special Old Bitter (S.O.B.). Thought the Thunder Hole (brown) Ale was good. Sort of into brown ales anyway but this held its own against its competitors. Not big on bitters but I had only had 1-2 before so I thought I'd give the style another chance. And 20% of that purchase was because of the name of the beer and the S.O.B. pictured on the label.The store was called Tully's and I actually more or less "stumbled" upon it. The owner, Dawn Tully, happened to be working so I was able to chat with her a bit. She showed a lot of enthusiasm and passion for the store. She opened the store 9 years ago and didn't know a thing about beer and maybe little about wine when she opened it. She is more into wine and fruit beers but is actually fairly knowledgable about beer. And I didn't ask why she decided to specialize in "selection" but what a selection it is for a small store. A worthwhile stop if you ever cross the border into Maine.

Will be returning to either this store or another one off of 95 tomm. morning. 10am on a Sunday will probably be the earliest beer purchase I've ever made.

just discovered that the cats have been pissing on my bath mat.

the ####### funk has been unbelieveable lately. guess that explains it. the no good mother####ers have been expelling their waste on MY ####### BATH MAT!

old litter. been a while since i purged the litter box. just bought a new tub of it this week.. dumped the old ####, replaced it with new litter.when you have cats though it always smells like cat... i THINK one of them pissed on it seconds after i got out of the shower tonite.. cause it was really really bad while i got dressed.checked again before coming up here and sure enough the ####ing bath mat is wet and stinks. threw that sucker in the garbage. time to get some of that odor eliminator tomorrow........... and a new bath mat.

:hot: Effing Beer Advocate. I've reviewed this beer...ON TAP at the Stuffed Sandwich. The review is gone.How many more are gone? Why? The review was good, positive and clean so it wasn't eliminated. They must have a bug in the system.
