so far i'm torn between this one, Founders Centennial and Racer 5 as my favorite IPA's.
I enjoy them all as well. but I like two hearted and Racer over Centennial. Now for DIPA's, don't get me started.
still building up to DIPAs. only ones i've had so far are Ruination and Hop Whore.pretty ####ing good though.

ALESMITH BARREL-AGED SERIES RELEASE: DECADENCE 2005

We know that you've been waiting for this one! It's almost time to release Barrel-Aged Decadence 2005, AleSmith's 10th Anniversary Ale that has been aged on wood. Brewed as an English-style Old Ale in early 2005 and racked to multiple bourbon barrels later that year, AleSmith Barrel-Aged Decadence 2005 has conditioned into a truly historic example of the style. The barrel conditioning has added notes of wood, vanilla, and ripe fruit to an already complex array of aromas and flavors. Barrel-Aged Decadence 2005 is definitely a sipping beer at 11.0% alcohol by volume, intended to be enjoyed like a fine Cognac.

Decadence 2005 was brewed only once and this will be the first and only release of the Barrel-Aged version. Individually numbered bottles will go on sale from the brewery only on Friday, December 15th at 3:00PM. Due to the limited nature of this release, there will be a (3) three bottle limit per person of drinking age. After you claim your bottles, please stick around for the AleSmith Holiday Party that follows...

3C's, you box is finally packed and shipping tomorrow. Growler is in there along with plenty of others to make up for the delay.

Tomorrow, into the mail a package goes (or thats when I'm saying it goes). This one is a bit different than most of the packages that get talked about in this thread. Yes, this package is about beer...but it won't actually contain any beer.

Into the mail go two dvd's. Both are narrated by Michael Jackson, the Beer Hunter. One is something I received from his beer of the month club, where he talks about 8 different beers and gets trashed in the process. Enjoyable.

The other is one of the finest documentaries ever made. The Beer Hunter. Not available on dvd, I had to do a conversation from vhs that came out so so (the original vhs dub sucked so what are you gonna do). Regardless, its a timeless classic and enjoyable for any beer lover (or hunter).

Only rules are, once you are done watching, the dvd's move along. They go to the next person you choose who frequents this thread. So on, so forth.

And of course, the recipient should remain a surprise until they receive the dvds.
DVD's recieved! Now I need to make some time to watch them.

:o I told you not to worry about extras. I'm on a beer a day (sort of) limit anyway. Gotta do something to get the BP down quicker. Guess when that growler comes in I'll have to have more than 1 beer though. :banned:

I wanted to make up for the Andechs you sent me too. I don't even remember how many I packed in the box now. Sort of done in a hurry. 22lbs though.

You have to realize how many people in this thing I have traded with also. Don't know that I could find 120 oz of beer that I haven't already sent to you, Skylord, Fro, bakes or Fatmax. Sort of narrows it down for me. If there were more MN breweries, I'd be in business, but since this one is going for the local thing...

You could just send me the New Glarus sampler pack I saw on the shelf at Binny's.
