What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (2 Viewers)

Well, I'm going to take a nap now. Will deal with the BTG issue later. Don't know if there's anything I can do until I get an answer from them. If I do. If we do lose everything, then this will serve as a reason for us to simply migrate to a permanent website for the BS. We'll see what happens around 4pm Central when I wake up.
update?

4:06 Central and still no progress. I say we ##### and complain some more.

Drank a few Troeg HopBack brews... I like that beer, nice little amber there.

Now I am onto finishing off the Piss they call Magic Hat.

As for BTG, it looks like the guy who runs that site is migrating to different software to avoid spamming bots. The singup for any board seems to be down, so I have to hope that this means there will be a lag time until we can get back on. Otherwise, we know the alternative. I am going to give it at least until tomorrow. Then I'll get with TT and see about expediting our quest for a permanent home. Which sucks, because this comes at a really bad time for me. Sick 3yo who is staying home from preschool. I also need to finish some paperwork for the company for accts, and some other stuff. And various stuff for the house here.

Couple new brews on tap at Mad Anthony: Rye IPA and "Spring Fling", which is basically a Maibock.

I liked 'em both.
Maibock. I can safely say I've never had one of those.
Not a real common pub brew, but traditional in Germany in the spring. Balanced toward maltiness, like most bocks, but a little lighter in color and body, and a little hoppier than other bocks.Description and some commercial examples here.

Mai = May Daniels says it has more hops and less color than the spring bocks.

no beer for the third night in a row.going to pick up the MIL from the emergency room and drive her home. :goodposting:
Hope everything is okay.
she had sharp pains in her side this morning and proceeded to go to the ER to have it checked. They've been running tests all day. Sounds like everything is fine. Thanks KT.
Glad everything sounds fine. We went through a similar scare not to long ago with Michelle's Dad. ER's are no fun (although we were to far away, but the waiting is nervewracking).Since you aren't drinking, I'll have one. A Mad River Jamaican Red. Nice and malty, with caramel and a hint of butter in the taste, and enough bitterness to balance it out. Again, thanks to MiC for the hookup.
