I think I found a new go-to beer. Wachusett's Green Monsta IPA. I first got it at a Pawtucket Red Sox (AAA) game in RI. I kind of figured it wasn't going to be great figuring it would just kind of a beer made for the masses because hey, it says "Green Monsta"! But I was wrong. I love this beer. And, like a lot of craft brews lately, it also comes in cans. For $14.00 a 12 pack you can't beat it. Kind of reminds me of Red Betty (formerly Red Racer).

Pick up a 12 pack of this for me, a 12 pack of Wachusett's Blueberry for the g/f, slide the packs in the side of the fridge door and we're good to go!

 
Toronado San Diego 5th anniversary weekend kicked off today. Had an El Toronado IIPA with all Dorado hops by Pizza Port Carlsbad, Alpine Keene Idea, Alpine Nelson on cask, and a Cantillon Iris. That was a pre-work lunch. I'll be popping back in tonight after work for a night cap.

 
i have a lot of kona laying around:

It's funny, most beer snobs would make fun of Raider's Nation, but I never will. I'd never dare drink Budswill in any form, but my experience is that the people who swear by Bud cans are some of the best drunks to get drunk with. You drink with a rodeo of those guys and you know someone is getting naked, someone is getting pissed on, and around 4am someone is going to scream at the top of their lungs and produce a bottle of Jack Daniels.

Some of my friends are getting together for a long day of sports and beer. Champions League Final, Tigers, Wings. On the menu will be dry aged filets, halibut, and most importantly: Doom, KBS, DFH 120 IPA, DFH Burton Baton.
