Other than the original, not a beer in the bunch I'll be searching out again.

I hear SA makes some great limited and special release stuff, but the everyday stuff they sell in the grocery stores is generally pretty terrible, if you ask me. The Latitude 48 is nice, but not as good as other IPAs that are likely on the shelf close by. I wouldn't turn down a SABL or Summer Ale if someone offered, but I wouldn't buy them. I used to like the Boston Ale a long time ago, but I haven't seen that stuff around in years. The rest I've had, I just don't like very much.I'm not sure what they are trying to accomplish with this summer pack thing that has 5 of the 6 beers with fruit added.

With you on this not a fan of SA. Brewery was cool to visit as you get off the train and walk through an old Boston neighborhood.

Buddy lived in Jamaica Plains for 3 years of law school down there, the SA brewery tour was hit every time I stopped down for some free drinks and glasses. Oh, try their premium stuff, their barrel room collection is pretty good. SA regular lager is on my lowest tier.

I do like Boston Lager, Black Lager, Octoberfest, Holiday Porter & Noble Pils. And there are several I still haven't tried yet.

Those are fine just dont stack up to other offerings IMO.

Couple years ago my local grocery store had a great deal on SA 6 packs. Over 50% with a SA coupon. I purchased a dozen of them cause why not. The 48 IPA drinkable the larger was fine. Then I made the mistake of buying one 6 pack of cherry crap. Not kidding its the only beer I have ever thrown away just terrible.

I tried that too. Tasted like cough medicine. :X

The Sam Adams Barrel Collection, Small Batch and Limited Release Beers are pretty good. I especially liked "Fat Jack" Imperial Pumpkin Ale, "Merry Mischief" Gingerbread Stout, and "New World" Tripel.

Good point. I didn't have any. I'm trying to do better on not holding onto beers for that special occasion. They are ment to by drank. I have some sours that I'm going to give another year to.

Some beers are meant to cellared. Stouts and high proof beers will hold up wel and often will mellow a bit and loose that sharp alcohol bite after time. It's just that hoppy ales don't hold up well and are best fresh.

Picked up a 6 pack of the Hobgoblin recently on a recommendation from my boss (he hadn't tried them himself, but had heard good things about it). It was a bit pricier than other 6 packs, but it was damn tasty.

The Nitro is supposed to make it creamier and smoother. I remembered thinking the regular Milk Stout was better, but I've only had either of them once or twice.

Also, I didn't know you can get kegs of some Revolution beers but that would kick ### for football season. Or now. They only have 1/6 barrels available now which isn't a good deal for 90 dollars, in my opinion. I would do a keg for 185 though.

What kind of kegerator setup do you have?

I don't yet. I got my brother something like this for his wedding awhile back. I guess that's why I said during football season because we tend to get together to watch the games. He also has a couple of different fittings for different kegs.

I have only had the Anti-Hero. How is there other stuff? Any recommendations?

I also like Eugene porter and Double Fist IIPA.

Otherwise I don't think I have had anything else. Such a big fan of Anti Hero that I usually just get that.

Oberon now.

Yeah, there are instructions on the bottle. I'm not a huge Nitro fan, it's creamy, but I don't think I prefer that. Oh well, Oberon is always money in the summer.

It's a beer that was conceived as a result of a drunken miscommunication between me, Bakes, and Tip Top's wife (TT doesn't really post here much anymore) during our annual TheBeerSpot gathering in 2011.

Tip Top homebrewed it. It was supposed to be a smoked dunkel eisbock, but I think technically he brewed an ale. It's an 18% smoked eis-ale (?) brewed with pineapple. He bottled the ice runoff as "little" Pineapple Exhaust, it's like an 8% version of the same beer.

It's a good beer. The real name was Honda Accord Pineapple Exhaust Dunkel, but it's been shortened. It's not quite as funny as it originally was, but, well, we were pretty drunk.

The beer tastes like a very sweet, boozy, fruity barleywine. I didn't actually taste specific pineapple, but you can tell there's a lot of sweetness in it.

Very, very good. TT said it clocked in at 18% abv.
