It's just yeast. If that bothers you, you should practice pouring slower to leave the yeast at the bottom or get a strainer like you would use with an older bottle of wine. There is most likely nothing wrong with the beer.Yeah.But a light brown dandruff?Looks like ####ing dandruff. :X

Good luck in the morning! They call it skullsplitter for a reason. I don't know what it is about that beer but headaches are a guarantee. Unless you're a tiny Irish guy named Joey from..Ireland...and drink 12 or 13 of them at a time while tending bar at the local Scottish pub.

Summer Beer Release Schedule
The Dogfish Head Summer 2006 selection is coming!
In addition to our great year-round beers and our summer seasonal Aprihop, we have some great beers to coming out this summer... including a first-ever bottling - hold on to your bottle openers!
First out of the gates is our Liquor De Malt. We're pretty sure this beer is world's only bottle-conditioned Malt Liquor! We brew it with red, white and blue gourmet corns (for Independence Day, of course!). Each 40-ounce bottle comes with a Dogfish Head brown paper bag. This beer will be in VERY LIMITED release (only a few hundred cases!) and should be in stores before July 4th.
For August, keep your eyes peeled for Chateau Jiahu. Like our Midas Touch, this beer is based on an archeological finds. The Chateau Jiahu originated with 9,000 year-old pottery jars found in the Neolithic village of Jiahu, Henan province, Northern China. The crockery revealed a mixed fermented beverage of rice, honey and fruit was being produced that long ago - right around the same time that barley beer and grape wine were Bimini to be made in the Middle East! We took the known ancient ingredients - added some 2006 Dogfish Head brewing sense (that might be an oxymoron), and some great label art by our friend Tara McPherson (she did the Fort labels too). The Chateau Jiahu will be released from the brewery mid-late August and should be in stores by the end of the month or the beginning of September (depends on where you are).
We've had lots of interest in our other ancient-based beer Midas Touch (thank you History Channel!). We do have two batches of the Midas hitting stores this summer, since it's such a great summer beer! The first round will be leaving the brewery beginning next week, then there will be another batch ready to go at the end of July. Pick some up and find out why Michael Jackson said of the Midas Touch, "A wonderfully complex beer, a wonderfully delicate beer, a dangerous thing, a great drink to welcome people to a party."
Finally, the highly-anticipated next batch of 120 Minute IPA will be ready to leave the Milton, DE brewery at the beginning of September! You'll probably start finding the 120 in stores mid-late September.
Simply awesome.

Yeah man. I was in such frenzy that day, because they didn't have what they said they had, that I forgot to buy two of them. So i am glad you sad to take it out.Judging by your review on BA, I am guessing that you are happy that I told you not to send it.
Other than the yeast this is a great brew.

I had a chance to sample the Chateau Jiahu last summer at a conference (Sam was the speaker). It's like almost no other beer I've ever tried, but reminds me most of a Belgian. As I recall, there are flavor elements reminiscent of both Saison and Geuze - earthy, spicy, a bit sour, a bit funky. I'll definitely be on the lookout for this one!

See my earlier comment. Had it. meh. I can appreciate what they're doing and trying to do as far as experimenting with beer. Unfortunately I don't usually appreciate the results. Midas Touch was the final straw. I'll stick with the 60 and 90 minutes and pass on the Forts, Pangaeas and Golden Showers.

I am the Beer God!
Had it at a BA fest a couple of years back. It's like Genesee Cream Ale with a supercharger bolted on. Big, sweet, yet somehow VERY drinkable. Did not seem to give me the Genny Screamers the following day.BTW, Genny Cream Ale on tap is a highly underrated brew. Plus you can get a 12 pack of Green Grenades for the cost of a quart of LDM.
Tonight, had two Yuenglings followed by a pint of Harp at the golf course, followed up with a Franziskaner hefeweiss and Brooklyn Pennant Pale Ale on tap at the former-brew-pub, now-beer-bar called Malt River. Their brewing equipment is headed off to the Midwest, the brewer apparently due to resurface somewhere close in the next month or two. In their place are 26 taps, no crap on tap.

My beer of choice this evening was Michelob Ultra Amber. Great taste and light as well. If any of you light beer drinkers haven't tried it yet, you should.
Disclaimer: I have not read all 134 pages of this thread, or however many pages it has gone. Not sure how many have tried it, but it is pretty good for light beer.
