What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (4 Viewers)

Rodenbach Gran Cru.

It is a Flemish Sour Ale......very tasty.
I'm kind of interested in trying the one they deem "touched with cherries." i was a pretty big fan of the three philosophers i had and any beer touched with cherries or black cherries or [insert fruit] seems like it would be good (not alcopops). though i did hate the one flemish sour ale that i had.
I think you are talking about the Redbach. Its a 3.5% party drink that supposedly tastes more like a wine cooler than a beer.

I slept on the Oaked Arrogant ******* too long. Was sold out at Julio's and didn't think to Beerspy before I left to make the beer run to see what other nearby places may still have some...which is too bad because Arrogant and Double ******* are easily two of my favorite beers so far. I'm just hoping I can find it on the way up Mass and into Maine somewhere but this is doubtful.

Still, I came home with a pretty good bounty today:

x2 Founders Breakfast Stout

x1 Yulesmith Holiday (winter) - I tried the summer version and liked

x1 Trappistes 10 & 8

x2 Fullers London Porter

x1 Rogue Shakespeare Stout

x2 Founders Red Rye

All first time tries.

And a few BIF beers...

Doesn't sound so good now.

If it was me? I prob. wouldn't get a growler of a stout. Grab the Karate kid and run.

Its sort of like Anchor xmas showing up in Minnesota before Los Angles, no?
Don't get me started on Rogue.

It's noon, and I am on my lunch break, and I am gonna drink a Devil Dancer.
Finished off a crooked tree, next stop Dark Horse Brewery, have a couple pints, get a growler (maybe 2 if the in-laws are lucky) then hang out with said In-Laws. See you all late tonight, or more likely tomorrow.

I'm trying to get out of going to a coworker of my wife's xmas party. Frankly, I'd prefer to just sit here and drink beer and watch Beerfest.

Very good flick, better then i expected. :lmao:

I got busy outside fabricating a pseudo hitch and trailer for my chipper/shredder, cleaning the garage, fixing Rudolph's nose and some other Christmas lights. Basically drank beer for lunch and dinner.

Lost track of what I've had...but I remember:

Smutty Winter

Hoptown Oatmeal Breakfast (gracias Gator)

Kalamazoo Stout

Sea Hag IPA

Finished off a growler of Crooked Tree, and most of a Reserve Special Black Bier growler with the in-laws, a good night!

Pics of a trade coming prolly tomorrow.

Keep in mind that one of those Imperial IPAs is a 2005 and the other is a 2006. So you can test them side by side. The Bourbons are both 2006. Also, don't be surprised if the Hop Juice is a little its date. Benn stored properly in my basement, but I am not totally sure if it's the most recent batch that I bought or the last round about 4 months ago. The Heavy Handed is good stuff too. I recommend that one first actually, since the others are somewhat heavier.Drink up, Johnny!

:( I saw that one had 2006 on the ring, while the other didn't. I was hoping they were different years. Thanks again hombre.

You're welcome. Enjoy them.

Spent all day yesterday shopping in Syracuse. Dinner time rolls around and I drag my better half into the Blue Tusk for a light dinner and - sonofagun! - they had Southern Tier Unearthly DIPA on tap. :wall: A 20 oz. pint of that and a short of the MA Wailing Wench and I was a happy camper.
