What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (4 Viewers)

Drinking my 2nd Red's Rye. Yet another bottle that foams. How do these things make it through a BIF shipment without exploding afterwards?

Many of Founders bottles tend to be over carbonated. Pale ale will tear your tongue up it is so bubbly.
You think so? I found only the Red's Rye to be that bad. The PA, Centennial PA, etc. have all been good to me for carbonation. The Red's though was brutal. As for how that one makes it through a BIF shipment, for me it's easy --- I don't send it. I think I did send a bottle once in a trade though. Didn't explode thankfully.

I have only bought one 6er (PA), but had a bottle a time or two at the bar, and they seem to be that way? Maybe it was just one batch.

Yeah, I'd love to. Thanks!
Cool. I'll send it out tomorrow. It is fairly simple, but has a lot of info. What info are you looking for from the all grain part?
I've brewed many, many times. But I've never gone all grain. I plan on brewing every Sunday once football ends.
Cool, i'm doing my first batch Sat..Every Sunday?! Doesn't take 3-4 weeks per batch? :n00b: :goodposting:
I have enough fermenters to have that many batch goings at once.

Yeah, I'd love to. Thanks!

Yeah, my kit came with two.

Something tells me TT will soon be sampling several beers that he can't get easily, as well as a few that he dearly loves and has had before. What could it be??????

Who is the FBG that placed an order with homebrewery.com today? I was in their B&M this afternoon picking up my stuff, and heard the following exchange.

"Hey Todd, did you get that footballguys order packed yet?"

Me:

Didn't catch the name on the front end of the e-mail (he gave me the real name, instead), but it was from California and definitely a footballguys.com address.

Kind of funny, considering all of my research originated in the FFA. Wife was a little nervous watching me unpack box after box from the truck, but she's actually pretty excited about helping out (and BIL is now BEGGING to come over and supervise).

Killer Whale Ale is coming ....

The email address was something@footballguys.com?

Yes. Couldn't tell whether it was .com or .net, because I was laughing at the time, but it was definitely a footballguys e-mail addy.
